These temps are related to the B1 revision of your card. I had two GTX780 with A1 and B1 revisions.
A1 was cool and silent. B1 was hotter and noisier. Also, it had a tendency to crash with newer drivers after 347.26. That's why I know the problem,
You can try to replace your cooling solution or apply MX4.

This driver will not crash, it's known to be stable with old cards/systems/boards.
It may have a bit less results in tests, but it's not noticeable in gaming.
"Best driver for GTX 960 so far. Finally my TERA Online issues are gone . Those are far far more stable than 347.25 or 347.52."

I don't buy Windows in any form anymore. It will drive them to bankruptcy.
And I'm still waiting for nVidia to drive off the cliff since I don't buy anything from them since 2013.

At least 3-4 members actively use MSFN as a substitute.

Lmao, I am not surprised. I knew there was something fishy in his modified Chrome.
I didn't try that modified Chrome, but I found out Opera made by the same cra_ker had connections to Russia's IPs. I have them, but shan't add here because they belong to a site that hosts cra_ks.

Nope. I didnt try it. What difference does it make?
Should be better than later ones, No conflicts with motherboards. In inf - replace 0FEC with 128B.

I have been using GT 730 with v344.75 for a while with same PC and it is doing very stable unlike GT 710. Games I tested and 3dmark2001se are not so power hungry softwares i guess. GT 730 with latest drivers such as v368.81 also caused freeze issue but has been very stable with v344.75.
It's a very well known issue with all nVidia drivers after 347.xx and old motherboards.

Did you try this one?

yes, apparently non of the official supported drivers work for GT 710. as I said, i need to test more with modded v344.75.
idle temps for GT 710 is around 54-55C, while benchmarking and gaming it jumps over 80C.
GT 730 idle temps were like 30-35C and max around 70C. (maybe because GT 730 is using thicker heatsink)
It's because there are two different variants of GT 710.
GPU Name NVIDIA GeForce GT 710
GF119S
GPU Variant
GF119-300-A1
Architecture
Fermi 2.0

FX3700 = 8800 GT so would be fine? Also would serve multi purpose as could use it for 2K, XP and old Hackintosh OS from 10.5 Leopard thru to 10.13 High Sierra in my KVM host with PCIE passthru
Yes, absolutely fine, I also did that BIOS mod by reflashing to 3700. There was (still is?) a ready made BIOS file from the original Quadro card circulating the internet.

I could go on. All of these are too bright and you've said so yourself right here at MSFN.
Sorry, but yeah, one HAS TO LAUGH whenever you say something is "too bright".
Blurays and films that are "remastered" by id*ots is nothing new. They are too bright and acid, agree. It's the same as those newly remastered audio CDs during the ear of loudness wars.
I just can't find the proper English jargon name for such releases. Brightness wars, maybe?

None of these programs you mentioned are "too bright" for me, fortunately.
It's not a software/programmes related topic.

It's because the driver branch is higher than 344. (R343)
This one is branch R346. Abd don't worry about Physx, it will work.
