Can this be used to boot Vista X64 (or XP X64) to install and boot from NVMe disks? If yes, how can be done?

I discovered something interesting! Surprisingly bluetooth is working fine, so in my case conecting the headphones using bluetooth solved the issue.

Since there are extended kernels for Windows, I'm wondering what can we do with an old Linux. Is it possible to make it run modern apps? I'm talking about Linux 8.04, Mandriva and other similar old Linux distros of WinXP/Vista era. What can we do in such old Linux distro?

I can't connect some devices to Windows Vista. That's happened with JBL Tune 710 headphones. The stac claims that you can't connect to devices without the function SCMS-T. Apparently, that's some security function. I use the toshiba bluetooth stac. The fact is that the option to connect to devices without that function is dissabled, and I'm not sure how far I can go updating the Toshiba's Bluetooth Stac since I use the version 10.34T. What can I do to solve this? Connecting to other bluetooth headphones and devices is working nice, so that's only happening with the JBL Tune 710.

that's the situation, the sound is distorted, specially while charging the battery. I tried to update drivers and the system but no result.

upd. no. 2 ok, mingw (precisely c++ compiler) doesn't work for some reason :(((((((((((Never used such compilation tools. For my everyday work as a web developer is fine.

Are you using a portable version_ And, I think after a restart it would work. Pd, I replaced vs code with vs codium, the only difference is that some extensions might not work, and Codium has less telemetry.

I again installed Office 2003 on a clean installation of Windows 10, and, updates work, so there's no issue with Windows update and office 2003.

I'm wondering if there is a way to convert html5 stuff into accessible flash player content for such old browsers. For such old browsers, I would recommend invidious instances.

some Windows 10 apps can work in Windows 7, but not all since some apps are UWP or call to functions which don't exist in Windows 7. Don't know if Windows 8.1 version could be installed and it is x64.

you would need to change and implement functions in Vista's Kernel. Don't know if @Win32's extended Kernel would allow you to run windows 7's Explorer on Vista

did you installed the ServicePack 3 and the Office 2007 compatibility stuff? I never had issues with Office 2003 and updates. Just some of them couldn't be installed.

I'm not telling that Windows 11 is bad on AMD processors, I'm just telling that Windows 10 performs better on such systems. It also deppends on the applications that you are running.

I'm totally blind too, and, I would recommend to check if there are key commands for such operations. Such commands still exists, so it shoouldn't be a big deal. For example, with control+s you could save a file.

there's a big step between XP and Vista, so you need to find old Windows 7 drivers. I managed to install the graphic card in my case using a version of DriverMagician.

pfff, .net Framework 4.8.1 sucks, they even dropped Windows Server 2019 and older Windows 10 releases.

there's no advantages of using Windows 11 instead of 10, specially if you are using old hardware. I personally liked it, but I don't want to see it anymore since Microsoft want to force Windows 11's usage with a Microsoft account. And, some people reported that the file explorer is slow, I prefer Windows 11's file explorer instead of Windows 10's one. So, it also depend on your computer. I also wouldn't recommend Windows 11 for people who is using an AMD processor.

Didn't tried Firefox, but Seamonkey is working fine, even the setup, but don't know if it is http or https, since the startup page of seamonkey is an http page still.

When I ran Edge in Vista, I firstly installed it inside a Windows 7 vm, then I copied the folder when I installed Edge to my Vista system.

Is there a way to install chocolatei on Windows Vista? It's a good way to update the installed software. However, never managed to install it on Windows Vista with the official command, and powershell core fails to start. Moreover, the system requirements are a bit confusing (Windows 7+ and Server 2003+) while Server 2003 is bassed on XP. It fails to get the protocol when I try the command in Vista. So I'm wondering if there is another way to install it on Server 2003/2008/Vista.
