I've owned a few Windows Phone 7.8 devices and as long as your ok with using the included apps (the marketplace doesn't function anymore) it runs great. The included browser works fine with most mobile versions of websites, including YouTube, facebook etc

Wait it's really running on Chromium 78? How's that possible, I thought it was using API's that XP couldn't support or something. But really, that's quite impressive I'll definelty check it out. How well does it run?

They used Franklin Gothic I believe, although if you want to use it I think you have to purchase it or something

I believe you might be able to get Notepad++ to run on Win XP/2000, I've used it for coding websites before and it works really well - and it has some extra html/css features -

Honestly, THIS WOULD BE A SUPER DIFFICULT TASK TO DO! It's not as simple as just changing a small portion of code in IE 8, it would require you to write large new bits of code and you'd probably have to rewrite a good portion of the code anyways. It would be much simpler to do something like use Chromium or Firefox source code and make it look like IE 8 ... or you know, we could make IE 8 compliant by making all the websites to comply to it's standards

Mainly Nu-metal music like Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit. Though I do listen to some rock music like Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Green day etc

I work with a lot of Windows XP computers and well I have to connect some to the internet (So I can do junk like get drivers on them, install software or just playing music in the background while I work on them) Anyways, for the past while I've been using Chrome for web browsing but Chrome's starting to feel slow and a lot of sites aren't working right anymore. So what's the best browsers for XP - one that's more are more up to date? (side note: I use Firefox on my main xp pc, as it works best with YouTube)

That's sucks! I'm still using the ESR version, if someone is able to get newer versions working I might update

If your using Chrome just use a User Agent spoofer and use the web version

Huh, why are you even using Security Essentials?

Saying that your use a Centrino Duo, and probably 2gb of ram. You might wanna do things like disable aero and other graphical effects, close background softwares etc etc, However for a laptop like that your better of with XP

Also just a reminder, I doubt Microsoft is going to care about XP support as well... you know since it's been outta support since 2014! Your better off reinstalling Office and not letting it update!
