I actually agree that it is reasonable to request that the current RT websites in use have DISCLAIMERS
that state that PALE MOON does NOT SUPPORT the RT 'XP OS' Browsers.

As far as a RT 'XP OS' Browser WEBSITE, maybe an 'Official' GITHUB.COM site would be a solution.
    https://github.com/Feodor2/Mypal
MYPAL Browser (XP OS) does use a GITHUB site.

And it makes just as much sense to have the PALE MOON websites in use have DISCLAIMERS THAT PALE MOON does NOT SUPPORT the RT 'XP OS' Browsers.

    It's a two-way street, pinhead.

So the confusion doesn't exist except that users are confused and coming to me. Look, I am simply tired of explaining it. I shouldn't HAVE to disclaim downstream projects or explain to user after user how what they are running isn't my project.

You want constructive? Well how about providing a real website, real branding, and real support venues and making it clear that the projects are NOT related to their upstream. Instead of this smattering of low level fragmented non-efforts provided thus far..

I had no intention of returning back here but your users are confused and bothering me. So this becomes your problem.

BUT if you think it will help.. Here: http://binaryoutcast.com/projects/interlink/#faq

Dude, YOU'RE THE ONE CRYING ABOUT THIS,THAT MAKES IT YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO SAY YOU'RE NOT GOING TO SUPPORT THESE BROWSERS BECAUSE YOU ARE AWARE OF THEM.

Maybe RT could upload and list some 'clickable' HTML files that (aim/open) reference
this MSFN.org Support Thread. For the BNAVIGATOR Browser, for download here:

    https://o.rths.cf/boc-uxp/

You could upload these four HTML files to URL above, naming them:

    bnaa1--CLICK-For-BNavigator-Browser-SUPPORT-Forum-(MSFN.org).html
    bnaa2--PALE-MOON-Forum-does-NOT-SUPPORT-the-BNavigator-Browser.html
    bnzz1--PALE-MOON-Forum-does-NOT-SUPPORT-the-BNavigator-Browser.html
    bnzz2--CLICK-For-BNavigator-Browser-SUPPORT-Forum-(MSFN.org).html

Under a 'NAME' Sort, these HTML files would list TOP and BOTTOM,
bracketing the dated 'bnav' Browser files (versions).

    http://rtfreesoft.blogspot.com/search/label/browser

RT could also make similar HTML 'CLICK' additions at the above URL.
This is something that could be done fairly quickly, as a response to Mr. Tobin.
And It would show that RT is 'doing something' to minimize the problem
of any CONFUSION that the RT 'BNAV' Browser is associated with PALE MOON Browser.
NOT saying this is a full solution, just a possible reasonable suggestion for consideration.

The only confusion that exits is in your's and Tobin's head. No one else is confused by anything.

If Tobin can't post in *BIG BOLD LETTERS ON HIS WWW PAGE THAT WE DO NOT SUPPORT XP- COMPATIBLE  BUILDS OR ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY OTHER THAN OUR OWN* for every one to see that's *HIS* problem-no one elses.

You really have to wonder if Tobin and those who support him know what an disclaimer is.....

Changing the contents of "About Serpent" not to point to you in anyway (except as a credit, maybe) would suffice as a 1st step?

Nah. He would then cry about Basilisk not getting the credit he thinks it deserves. For some reason Tobin can't deal with Serpent being a fork of Basilisk.

We saw pretty much the same thing in Linux when MATE split away from Gnome.

I have just encountered my third Windows XP user using your builds asking for information and support. WILL YOU PLEASE STOP REPRESENTING YOUR PROJECTS AS MINE. Create your own branding or end your foolish projects.

Do this or I will revoke the repository again and start rewriting major parts of it as proprietary software.

Karma's a b***h isn't she? Learn to live with her dude.

If you didn't know why did you bother responding? I was asking the person who would the most familar  with the code itself if he thought there would be problems with it running under WINE, not some useless, most likely Gnome 3 using, PC Gamer like you..

Ok, I just did a quick test of basilisk52-g4.1.win32-git-20190427-3424afcca-xpmod.7z on a usb flash drive with Knoppix 8.2 installed on it using WINE. Serpent/Basilisk ran fine under wine, but there were some "quirks" that showed up that I suspect has more to do with Knoppix's 8.2 GUI interacting with WINE than with either WINE's XP emulation or   Serpent/Basilisk running under it.Suspect I need to install and test Serpent/Basilisk on another Linux distro to be sure, but right now I'ld say Serpent/Basilisk runs almost as well under WINE as it does under Windows XP. Haven't  see any complaints about missing dll's or anything so far.

Why not just port Rust to XP? Everyone would benefit from that.

Are you serious? You've got people running away on non-xp platforms because of Rust and other Mozilla Browser nonsense. Have you not been paying attention to what's going on?

You can still use GNOME Classic on Fedora, you just have to decide it when you log in, after booting. You can choose GNOME Xorg, GNOME Wayland or GNOME Classic.

For the records, I don't really like the tabled/android-like feel of the "recent" version of GNOME.

When Fedora got rid of 32 bit support and the 4-gig DVD iso it basically became a POS. I quite frankly don't want to be tied down to an online installer for something like this. The live image is also a sick joke for installing something.like this.

Now that we have finally reached EOL, I am curious to know how many people will continue to use Windows XP. I for one, will. However, I do use GNU/Linux, and newer versions of Windows for certain software that is not compatible with XP.

Well I'll be sticking with XP and Win 7 along with the Chinese Android TV box and Opensuse running MATE, since Fedora and the other once useful Linux Distros have pretty much been ruined by the Gnome 3-using Teletubbies that escaped from the TV show these days.
