  1. Fantastically helpful Indeed! Works great with XP x64 & Server 2003 x64 Thank you very much.
  2. Yes great choices; I would suggest using Snappy Driver Origin personally as from what I have heard it is more reputable. Certainly is a good idea to use a variety because some catch other drivers that one may miss. Although, it's VERY important to keep in mind to make full OS image backups before installing drivers lest you end up with a blue screen of death. As sometimes driver software will hand you drivers that may not be completely compatible out of the box with XP x64; if at all that is. You can use a free disk application called MiniTool Partition Wizard Free 11.4. Just use the feature Migrate OS to SSD/HD Wizard and then from there pick option A or B. (The reason I suggest this older version is because the last time I checked later versions dropped that feature from the free product). Hmm, I have yet to play around with 360Chrome, but it does look promising! &&~ Oh and Avast AV is also a great choice Indeed. Well, here is another option; I have found that Comodo Internet Security Premium 11.0.0.6802 seems to work quite well on XP x64 and still scans properly; also it still receives AV / Web Definition Updates. Seems to be the last truly stable and functional version now (At least from my tests). Since many versions of 12 have some bugs / compatibility issues with XP x64 or have completely dropped support altogether. (Make sure to download and keep Ciscleanuptool x64 around in case you wish to properly uninstall Comodo in the future). &&~ Also, if you are looking for another nice layer of security; I have found NoVirusThanks OSArmor works well with XP x64 and is free for XP users. Well, I wish you luck @VistaEX and if you need help with something I'm sure you shall find it, just make sure to do as much research as you can and lay out a plan; that way it will be more or less a smooth process.
  3. Ohh I see, whatever works for you. If you still want some XP 32 bit drivers this link to the manufacturer might help. https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-in/product-support/product/latitude-e6430/drivers
  4. Under your Windows XP install you can locate your Device Driver Information within Device Manager. To do it, simply right click on Start and then Manage; from there you left click on Device Manger. Once that is complete you shall see a list of installed, unknown or identified drivers; go ahead and right click the device you are wanting drivers for and then left click Properties. Now, a window shall popup, from there you need to left click the Details tab. Next left click upon the list called Property and select Hardware Ids. Finally, all you have to do is have either of the ids selected then copy and paste the Id. You can search for each id that way via your web browser of course; though it would be wise to do such for each device driver you are wanting installed or updated. Just follow that method and you can create a list of your Hardware Ids. You can post that list here and it will allow us to perhaps help you better.
  5. My heart goes out to you and your loved ones... I am so very sorry for your loss. <3
  6. Windows Vista x64 / Server 2008 R1 x64 is quite a pleasant operating system on modern hardware I shall say; thus my answer is yes and no. It may not be my main operating system of choice; although it is a nice go to as experienced in the past. I shall keep it around for testing and just for the hell of it because there is Indeed quality to be found in that NT 6.0 OS.
  7. Well, I shall say in order to have a better understanding of where to possibly begin to being able assist you; I shall need more information pertaining to what your exact laptop model is etc. So, what is your laptop model?
  8. One Must Fall 2097 Theme (High Quality) 1997
  9. Yes, this is quite true. ^_^ Indeed, it can also be made into a rather fun learning experience if you learn and slowly digest that information within a safe environment such as a virtual machine. So, if you ever somehow broke something you could simply roll back to the previous snapshot and start from where you left off.
