    Just because your a bad guitar player doesnt mean you dont know how to write music
    I never said he didn't write good lyrics. In fact I think he wrote great lyrics. I'm just telling you what the dude said.
    kurt had a much better voice, way better song writing,and had a much better band then pearl jam, beat them in all areas.

    And whenever people think of nirvana how come the first thing that comes to there head is Kurt ??

    Because he was the lead singer and he committed suicide?

    and Kurt Cobain only knew 3 chords, was a junkie, wife beater, and killed himself like the loser he was, hardly someone to look upto. Nirvana where good sure... but i dont think they where as good as other bands at the time, they just got more coverage because of their punk attitude.

    I agree. I think Nirvana is a noteworthy band because of the way they revolutionized music as opposed to their talent. Kurt also said that he was a horrible guitar player. :)

    PS: The Kinks suck lol

    I can somewhat agree with Pearl Jam being there. They pretty much created grunge music along with Nirvana and a few others.

    I agree with Pink Floyd being there because, well, they're Pink f***ing Floyd.

    But Tool? Nothing against them; I love them like the next guy, but I just don't understand how you can group Tool with the other two.

    I'm not trying to flame you or anything, I just don't get it.
