  1. Hi Ben, Thank you for your fast reply. Actually, I didn't have to do all that stuff because the default feature list just appeared this morning when I tried for the third time to create an iso. The weird thing is that I did nothing to take care of that bug. I noticed one guy in the berginning of the post who had exactly the same bug, I guess you should look into that. My config is as followed : win 7 x64 ultimate, rt 7 lite 1.05, language english.
  2. I never get the default feature list. Is that the reason why the program keeps bugging during the removing component part?
  3. I'm responding to this "old" topic because I'm encountering the same problem as the first poster. And, by reading the answers he received at this time, I can see that everybody has his own method to integrate intel drivers which is not to ease my research. Anyway, the directory for the intel driver is like that : In vlite, we have the choice to integrate a driver only or a directory of multiple drivers. Which one should I choose to get the drivers installed properly? Thank you for your help.

  5. Thanks for your quick answer n7Epsilon. I'll try with framework 2.0. Edit: Maybe by installing the lite framework in the slipstreamer directory we can bypass the need of the real framework...
  6. I'm on Vista 32 bit and today I created 4 isos of xp sp3 and they're all working very well so I think I can say there's no problem in creating an iso of XP under Vista. But could you be more precise about this part : "there are many things that will not work like the Input Product Key Dialog ... " Well, I was wrong! I have a problem with the isos. The VLK is not working and it's because of Vista. I run nLite on XP SP2 and my VLK was recognized so I'll let you conclude what's needs to be done!
  7. Hi boogy, I just read the ten first pages and didn't find an answer so here's my question : Does your slipstreamer need the real framework from MS in order to work well or the tweaked framework of nLite is enough? Im asking that because I used the slipstreamer on Vista and had no problem but then, I used it on xp sp2 and it ddn't work (I forgot to screenshot the error message) and on my laptop with xp sp2, I have no framework at all, just the tweaked framework of nLite. Thanks in advance.
  8. I used nLite on my laptop wich is under XP SP2 and it worked! The key was recognized since the installation didn't ask for it! But I had a problem integrating WMP 11, a problem that I didn't have under Vista. But it's another question! Thanks guys
  9. Ok then. If it works, I will DEFINITELY put my Vista CD to the bin! I have my laptop on XP SP2 so no need to use a virtual machine.
  10. I'm running nLite on Vista 32 bit so if I did understand what you said, the key I entered didn't integrate. Ok for that but when the installation arrives at the point where I must enter the key, I put my VLK and it doesn't work : the installation tells me that it's not valid. I'm sorry if I'm not very clear but my english is a bit limited
  11. Hi guys, I met a problem on my last attempt to create an iso of XP PRO CORP with SP3. My VLK is not recocgnized by the installation and it says it's not valid. But my VLK works very well with XP PRO CORP SP2 and I'm 100% sure that it's valid. Do you know something about that? Thanks for your help!

  13. To automate the F8 process you can use the ReadyDriver Plus v1.1 (works on both x64 and x86). Hm, is a patched tcpip.sys for Vista x64 SP1 out there anyway? And yes, I would be very pleased to see this feature - patched tcpip.sys for Vista x86/x64 SP1 without pressing F8 - in vLite, too! Thank you very much! It worked like a charm!
  14. Same here! Please add this function to vLite, it's so annoying to have to press F8 at every boot of Vista SP1 to disable driver signature
  15. It's not the subject but recently, the CIO of Microsoft clearly said that Vista is a "work in progress" so I really don't think that it is going to replace XP soon... Windows 7 is more likely to be the real xp killer.
