As long as only the buttons are terrible, it doesn't matter, but there should be other things that can also look terrible

I hope this doesn't look so bad to you  :hello: I replaced the buttons after the bitter criticism:buehehe::worship:

    Dear Uk58,

please don't get me wrong, I really appreciate the time and effort you have put into this.
I guess I'd try my luck with it if I had the time and patience.
Is it really not possible to make different sized caption buttons in Curtains like those in WindowBlinds?

I sure do miss my window borders.

Don't get me wrong, I love translucency, but to me the biggest improvement I've felt from Big Muscle's software is to be able to create compositing resources that include a visible border.  There is no substitute for visually finding the window border for resizing, etc.  I can't tell you how many times I've been frustrated by trying to grab the corner, no, inside the corner, no just outside the corner, only to have a window underneath jump up unexpectedly or something.

  3. this Windows update has been auto installed itself on my computer three times already.
I always uninstalled it afterwards. Before the third time, I left it on the computer for a couple of days, maybe I can get used to it.
I couldn't. :) Not just because Metro surface lacks the aesthetics of Win7 Aero, but it has practical disadvantages too: the application windows has no visible borders which can be grabbed for resizing or moving. It's like MS has forgot the meaning of the name of their operating system, and thinks everybody uses all windows in full screen every time...
So now I uninstalled the update for the third time and disabled the updates for as long as I could.
Is it stupid to postpone essential updates for the sake of looks? Probably it is. But right now this is how it is.

    Aero Glass for Win8.1+ 1.5.5
Windows 10 (version 15063.540) Release version

Photo, Edge, People & Calculator apps now have no Min/Max/Close buttons on the taskbar and zero transparency.
Right Click can still be used to activate these functions which is a good comprimise while MS rolls out Fluent Design.

I will continue to post on this Topic until BM creates a new topic for later versions.

also, when I try to register or unregister DWMGlass.dll, I get the following error:
