Windows XP x64 and Windows Server 2003 is bit more robust , 2000 is something i will avoid in more than 2Core CPU , i dont know why boot become slow

It seems Microsoft did their job again i.e breaking stuff.
Latest VC++ 2015 2017 and 2019 Re-dist is broken on XP: https://aka.ms/vs/16/release/vc_redist.x86.exe
It now calls some API which are replaced with Stubs in Windows 10 ( Don't believe , Hit those api on respective DLL with Dis Assembler)
We need to start a ticket to let them fix the runtime as soon as possible as People still code for XP and we need newer C++ Standard.
Edit: Please someone start the Support ticket and We all will go and support. Microsoft accounts knows i am 18yrs old they will not take me seriously.

there is no such switch. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/build/reference/arch-x86?view=msvc-140
Sorry I should have been more specific, I was talking about FFMPEG code inside XUL Platform , I think its called FFVPX(correct me if i am wrong). FFMPEG does have SSE4 support.

Can now upgrade UMDF 1.0 for Windows 2000 to activate mtp? With the help of XP codes.
We previously talked about the possibility of running umdf 1.0 for Windows 2000, but it was almost impossible. But it may be different after the post of XP code
Did you request BWC?

Is it possible to use these codes to develop MTP and umdf 1.0 For Windows 2000 ?
You need extended Core , XP usb drivers and MTP Driver from google.
@win32 if Microsoft open source it, it will be a boon to reactos. I believe they should as it is hard to put genie back into bottle once it is out.

These source codes were with some blood suckers ( read hackers) since 2004.
This source is shared with Russian Government and French government back in days.
God knows how it leaked.
XP Sp1 / 2k3 RTM is more like Windows 2000, but Sp2 / Sp1 respectively made them different entity all together.
Much of legacy code were replaced from 2000/NT4 were replaced by much modern one.
Kernel Mode except few API , XP and Server 2003 are identical but they never messed with user mode in XP 32bit until SP3.
XP may have 10% percent legacy code but Server 2003 has maybe 1% legacy code.
Its no shock that XP Sp1 is much faster than Sp2 in older CPU because Sp1 is much windows 2000.
Funny thing , Microsoft is not yet reacting.0 -

We're not talking about XP, we're talking about Vista
Structurally WDDM 1.1 is different to WDDM 1.0/
WDDM 1.0 handles GDI and DX10 differently , If NVIDIA left WDDM 1 directives , you guys are lucky.

@asdf2345
It is possible to run newer Minport driver on XP by fixing missing api but DirectX/OpenGL will not run due to lack of XPDDM compatible user mode driver directive on WDDM 1.1 drivers.

Is that NVME ? XPx64 used to fail CHKDSK inside CMD even with driver from Toshiba , it was just a storage drive to XPx64 even though its boot drive to 8.1

Oh @Dave-H this is nothing new at all. you can't EVER ask advice or questions without Moon-Matt and their minions biting your head off.
And it's sad really, because Matt Tobin is VERY talented - he really is. I think Interlink is a TERRIFIC mail client. But his decorum, and Moonchild's for that matter is just atrocious.
As much as it may make me seem like a jerk to keep pointing this stuff out (I'm fully cognizant of that), sorry, but users need to be made aware of just how asinine that development team is. And I will exercise career-like dedication of that pursuit.
Rather Giving Matt Tobin credit for mail client , give it to Seamonkey team who made that stuff and matt just went out to port it to UXP

which does not afflict Windows XP because the OS does not have umpo.dll.
These vulnerabilities show that Windows XP is now more secure than Windows 7.
That very true as it seems . Do you remember wannacry BSODed XP?
