    It's working okay for me...  Since it's not a basic compatibility problem can you please describe what's going wrong for you?

    -Noel

    do you have debug windows still coming up that you hide? mine still shows them. just uninstalled and reinstalled it again today and am getting the same results...

    Win 10 14393.576 v1607

    aeroglass 1.5.1

  2. I have it installed and running with the debug windows on 1607 14393.576. Is there a final release candidate for this build yet? I have read through the other topics but am beginning to become lost in this as there are so many threads regarding installation, etc. Thanks in advance.

  3. Just the interface as far as I know... it does seem to process a bit faster (or did when I was fumbling through 2 dozen documents at a time while I was in school). For day-to-day use, I honestly don't notice much different... just thought it would look cool if the whole top colored portion was glass..

    How I install it is. Create folder "AeroGlass" on "C:\" then extract #669 to "C:\AeroGlass" then install "setup-w8.1-1.4.5.exe". That all

    you shouldn't install that... just unpack 669 to C:\AeroGlass and then create a task in task scheduler to run aerohost at startup as the SYSTEM user account.

  5. Disregard. I was in a hurry and forgot to mention to you that this was a fresh reinstall of windows (recently) as well. I had one reg key in the wrong location and was missing one all together. I apologize, this is my first experimental build experience. Thank you for your assistance though! For others that may have this issue as well, this (from another post on this board) fixed it for me:

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows]
    "LoadAppInit_DLLs"=dword:00000001
    "RequireSignedAppInit_DLLs"=dword:00000000
    "AppInit_DLLs"="C:\\AeroGlass\\ModernFrame.dll"

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows]
    "LoadAppInit_DLLs"=dword:00000001
    "RequireSignedAppInit_DLLs"=dword:00000000
    "AppInit_DLLs"="C:\\AeroGlass\\ModernFrame.dll"

    make that a reg file and run it. Ensure ModerFrame.dll is named just like this...

    *The second part (Wow6432) is only for 32bit Windows, thus is NOT required.

    Build #652, 64 bit
    Designed for Windows 10 build 14393
    Fixed optimization of overlapped dirty regions
    Fixed data sharing between more drawings in one pass
    Includes new experimental ModernFrame.dll

    Deleted task to run previous build. Restarted. Moved C:\AeroGlass to desktop. Extracted new build to a newly created C:\AeroGlass. Applied NoelC's theme skin again. Works as the previous build did... but Modern Apps do not have Glass. Secure is disabled. Am I missing something that must be done for Modern Apps in experimental builds? Thank you for your hard work (I do have a key for final builds, so I am a supporter).

    Clsharp theme update!

    Okay so, I've been doing some tweaks to my theme and decided to call it version 2. I'm now satisfied how it works and maybe I don't have to tweak it again too much after this. I wanted to make new post for this since the old one wouldn't even allow me to keep the old files, due to 500KB upload limit. Even though I made overall tweaks to make the theme more complete, I also included flat edition on it. While shading only makes a small difference over flat version, I felt it works better when you have more opaque color settings in use. This way people can choose what to use for their taste.

    Flat Preview:

    Open them in different tabs so you can see face to face what's the difference really.

    I hope you enjoy! :)

    Can you make it so either the X has a red box around it (that changes with hover) or make the X red itself with the same tint change on hover?

    Is this one what you're looking for? I take no credit for it's creation, just a reupload from earlier in this thread...

    This will sound like a dumb question, but I need to know how to get these themeatlas files to work correctly. What am I missing? I have taken a screenshot of what I get when applying one. I believe it has something to do with the .layout file not being present (download was only the .png). If so, how to I create a corresponding .layout file for each themeatlas .png? Thanks.

    You'll get this when the theme atlas you're using isn't compatible with the theme you're using. This can mostly be seen for theme atlases made for Windows 8 or early 10 that are applied on Windows 10 b10240.

    I appreciate your (and the one above yours) answer! I have been searching through this thread on and off all day, and am slowly figuring this out. I have found a good number of the PNG files that work with Layout files that I have renamed. I am going to modify the RoundedCornersNoColor to have different styled buttons (like the ones in lqytn78 and I will post the results. Thanks again for the replies!
