  1. Use custom taskbar coloring slider still reverts to 50% after moving slider right after a time.
  2. This is MUCH appreciated. Been dual booting 10/11 on laptop for testing. With this release, I will probably dual boot on main PC. For the most part, working very well. Sometimes settings do not stick (Windows 11 theme) and have to readjust the sliding bars. Also, Windows 11 theme does not go all the way to the left, but that might be something I'm missing in settings. Will continue to play around with it. Kudos and cheers
  3. On beta channel (19043.962) Windows 10 Insider. After installing cumulative update kb5001391 I get the titled error. Screen flashes, latest 2.99. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling and latest beta to no avail. Had to do a system restore before cumulative update to get startisback++ to work again. Any way to resolve this?
  4. This means some "registry cleaner" deleted entries which are required to launch metro apps. It's not just windows apps, settings has same error. Disabling SIB, issue goes away. I don't use registry cleaners except CCleaner after uninstalling a program. Perhaps CCleaner is the culprit? I'll uninstall SIB with Revo and make sure all registry entries are deleted and reinstall. Thanks for the suggestion and I'll try again.I've used CCleaner for years but indeed, all registry cleaners including the one in CCleaner, cause more harm than good. CCleaner was the culprit. Been using SIB++ v1.04 for about a week and no more error and no more using CCleaner's registry cleaner. Thanks for this frustrating issue coming to a conclusion.

  6. SIB++ 1.04 has fixed the error "This program does not have a file associated with it for performing this action" for now. Hopefully, this will be permanent. Edit-not 5 minutes later, same error exists. "Settings" or any Windows 10 apps have the same explorer.exe error. I'm half tempted to go back to a Windows 8.1 image where SIB worked flawlessly with no issues of ANY kind.
  7. I can't open settings, weather, or maps. I get an explorer.exe error "This file does not have a program associated with it" popup. This is becoming tiresome. I have used this software since Windows 8. Originally, I had a reboot issue after running sfc /scannow-but that was due to oldnewexplorer. I have clean installed three times and the problem remains. If I disable SIB++1.03, the issue goes away. Has anyone else have this issue? I've emailed support, but have not received a response. I do realize there is only one person in support.
  8. I originally tried reset and Windows would not have it. I clean installed Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. I forgot to untick safe mode the last time so I could not access system restore. Windows repair would not work, either. I had to clean install for the second time without installing SIB++. Sfc /scannow does run.
  9. In SIB++ for windows 10, I could not open settings in version 1.0.1. The issue was resolved in 1.0.2. However, running sfc /scannow, after rebooting, I get a flashing blank screen. The issue remains in safe mode. Fortunately, I had a restore point. I deleted SIB++ 1.02 and the issue is gone. I like this program and would like to continue using this since I have used it since Windows 8. Has anyone else had this issue? If so, how to resolve? Thanks in advance.
