XP link is nicer of course.. i dont expected that it exist.. I dunno if it false detection but Avira (it has lots of false positives) claimed that download from this site has some malware inside, so it would be safer to download from other place. Also description dont look XP legid, there are mentioned games like Witcher III, which are not XP compatible for sure.. In v334.89 is first time mentioned Geforce 750Ti support, so guess it could support Geforce 730 too, because geforce 730 / 750 are actually low power Geforce 9xx chips, not normal Gefore 760-780 line chips. So its not big range and its quite possible that.. aspect correction was striped before these release, but if my memory works (big IF), i used this feature with Geforce 970, which is are firstly supported from 340.52 driver. There is also mentioned G-Synch support, if G-Synch really works with XP it would be great, but thing its Win7+, still much better than Freesych which is Windows 10 only. Yeah, this is exactly what im looking for, but 179.24 really old, i dont even know if it supports Geforce 730, but i guess that is good start for search, with some internal divide mechanism we can find some newer. I onld need to find some good old WinXP archive archive, because when i searched older driver for my card on NV site i got oldest 353 and i need something older. I already have my own archive with all releases for Win98, i guess that i would need the same for WinXP, only hassle is that WinXP drivers are 10x bigger..

Thanks for info, i will try 5.4.0 but it means that now up to date and future versions will not work.. we would only in fear when they will kill backward connection to older version, because of some security flaw, or API update. Teamviewer also somehow working with new updates, there seems to be new 14.2 version. I would like to really see some guarantee of WinXP future for next years as part of some long term like Linux kernel support promise.. but its just wish, until more people will get more sick with killing of compatibility and will get loud..

Well, if would use XP 64bit i would mention it as something special. I tried 353 drivers and its working as expected, there are 2 visible monitors there is addional option in Nvidia panel for extended desktop mode . Now would be great to find driver version where i was broken. @Rod Steel - newest from web should be enough, its 368.81 . @RainyShadow - This is exactly option which i dont see at all, see always only one screen on this picture and this is problem - even when i enable second i nvidia panel i still see only one screen with 3940x1200 resolution. Rainy Shadow, which driver you are using? It could be different for Quadro.

Hello, I trying to setup WinXP SP3 32bit extended desktop mode with Nvidia drivers - newest rom web, but i dont know how to setup it, or extended mode was just removed and i would need some older drivers, im using Geforce 730 Palit KalmX card. - im using DVI and miniHDMI ports. Problem is on Widows display settings - where you can select resolution is only one screen.. i can enable second one through Nvidia panel, but it has not proper extended desktop mode.. Only some horizontal span, so all behaves just like 1 monitor not great - startbar is streched, maximalize window means that is stretched to 2 not one monitor default resolution for games is not 1920x1200, but 3840x1200 etc. I can split monitors to 2 virtual monitors true Display fusion but i cant set right one as primary which im used to. True is that it didnt do this in XP for long time, it just worked in the past.. but my guess is that is something "strange" with driver and that extended desktop mode was there on anything from Windows 98+. I was ready to "suffer" with only 2 monitors, but i need them to work better. Is there solution? Can some point me to some older driver, where it is fine? If im not wrong Nvidia panel even missing couple of other settings which were already in older versions.

I guess that it will work, but if should decide between downgrade whole OS, or use one application.. i will stop to use application, unless they will fix it. So Teamviewer is dead, Anydesk is dead, is there other alternative?

Ok my Anydesk version is 5.4.2, old, but it claims to be up to date, in gui, i installed some version as you but is the same. And kernel is 5.1.2600.7682, no pending updates, but true is that i installed it from some updated custom SP3 iso and used my key after that to same time, but i have same problem with other install from vanilla CD. Bot are SP3, one is english one is czech install.

I cant tell right now, it was Qemu KVM virtual machine and im no in Windows.. But i just downloaded last one from web and machine has no pending updates.. I will post details later.

.Hmm, the same. I changed used Controll set back to original - 7 and its working. I only saw 1 difference before crash, when its working mouse cursor is smaller - high resolution, when its not its bigger - lesser resolution, all my instance have same resolution. I wanted to export new Control set to make some comparison.. but after i run machine again with Controll set 7.. and im opening registry Control set 9 is no gone.. Is there some max Control set 8 or something like that limit (i got some Windows update and Shutdown i have few not working updates (.Net framework 3.5), which are trying to install from time to time )? I at least once Control Set 9 was there before i was able to import second part (virtual device inside it). Now i can create Controll set 9 quickly. If there is some good tool comporate keys. BTW i dunno if there is something what should stay private, or could post keys here - now i can recreate

I tried first part.. Boot no bluescreen, but on login screen i got black screen, mouse cursor and reboot. And safe mode gave me freeze too, just blinking cursor. Make sense to try add virtual devices or its just dead end? About debugging with small parts would not be more clever really try to check why installation is failing and service not running from my perspective it seems easier way, but i never did such things.

Make this sense, when its not worked even after restore whole partition with which im sure that it worked before? If i broke something, restore should fix it, or not? This again change of same machine, if problem is on network change inside machine will not help. I would understand if machine would start to send some bad packets and router would block it, but it would work after reboot to other OS? Are these packets different.

Hmm, im starting to thing that it could be something with networking hardware, because today is simulated it again: I just removed left over old NIC from device manager, network stopped working, or fine.. tried to fix it nothing, but i recover disk image where i was working for sure.. and i tried it and its not working. In other OS is working fine, i otherwise had not networking issues. My setup is quite simple, some unmanaged switches and router / vsdl modem, all settings dynamic. Any ideas?

Hmm, so they are not really something like sing of super broken system, im trying this options, if get into state, when its not working normally.. sometimes its working and its much faster that restore image. Im that Registry block above? Its all for NVME device removal or for some ControllSet cleaun up? I managed to remove that NVME driver, here is how to, yeah it was again some :*Filter" thing: - search for LowerFilters, delete the secnvmeF line only, not whole parent key - delete secnvmeF service. - delete secnvme service. - delete related INF (look inside oem*.inf) from \Windows\Inf - its probably not totally neccesary, its only solving recognition of device after reboot, but would create only create some stub device, without driver. - delete secnvme.sys and secnvmeF.sys from \Windows\System32\Drivers - uninstall device from Device Manager and restart immediately // Probably dont neccesary, because devices are added by start of services, i thing.. So now im "clean", i can debug why more promising driver is not working. BTW regarding my system, if you know some good unitility to create some system report, i will create it for sure. I though about if have something special in my system, for sure i have some games DRM systems - like Starforce, Securom etc.. + some companies USB Token drivers stuff, but by i would bet my money, on some other problem file some registry mising key permissions etc. Which driver is needing. Im will check EventLog, for some clues.

Well, i found solution how to write Grub4dos code to MBR and its "my bad way" which i prefer - 1 minute long Youtube video, it using Bootice and its working for WinXP too. Its other magic option of Bootice, which dont know yet. Its really effective and giving me that level of knowledge depth which i prefer, if would stuck on step, i can simply give deeper. It wasnt boring, it was helping and but yeah too complicated and too much strong words for my taste. Fairy tale about my random tools.. My guess is that this partittion type change happen through WinXP or Win2000 install when i had some partition hidden (to install it to as C letter), or its Acronis bug, but my guess is 1st thing, i vaguely remember that i had exactly same problem which same setup 12 years ago. This is classic problem bad user vs bad developer, i believe that problem is in not in user. If i really trying to thing your recommend way its madness, really can control / understand everything that is illusion, every program has own services, which are blackboxes, own code which black box, writing lots of keys to registry - which function is are not often clear. Random specialized tools and searching for them have flaws too, but as overall strategy it make more sense. There is couple of things which i care low level as possible, but OS as for me just tool, which supposed to work and be easily customizable and easy to use. I dunno if ever heard about ERP + TOC, but its similar strategy which im using to approach these things. I have few main goal and dont want to be lost in some minor problems analysis, if there is way around.
