So, aside from presumably having a an actively maintained web browser, us XP users will be left out in the cold, come April of 2019. How dangerous will it be to continue using this aging operating system online? Will a router firewall, and up to date web browser be enough?

Probably yes but why risk it?

With my PC with XP I want to be able to use my bank online in security.

    My Security Setup:

    Windows XP Home
    Windows Firewall
AdGuard DNS 1°- CloudFlare DNS 2°
    PsExec
    DEP Always ON
    Trick POSReady 2009
    Black Viper's List
    No NET Installed
    SMB Protocol Disabled
    MBAE Premium v. 90
    OSArmor v.1.4

New Moon (Pale Moon fork for XP) - Custom Setting About:Config
    UBO
    UBO Updater
    NoScript
    HTTPS Always
    Self-Destructing Cookie
    Decentraleyes
    No Resource URI Leak
    Super Start Speed Dial

  2. Hi to all.

No alert pop-ups for Phishing and Malware web pages.

You can use the Phishtank database to perform tests:

    https://www.phishtank.com/phish_archive.php

    Firefox 52.9 ESR:

For Phishing, the Netcraft Anti Phishing extension can be installed:

    https://addons.mozilla.org/it/firefox/addon/netcraft-toolbar/

Version 1.10.3 can be installed with New Moon.

In my opinion it is not very profitable to equip your Adblock with specific Anti-Phishing lists.

I added only "Spam404 Domain Blacklist" to the Spam404 list already active in my Ublock Origin:

Another remedy is to equip the Pc with DNS that protect against Phishing and Malware.

If you know and use anything else you can list in this 3D.

    TH.

I asked KKapsner if it would be possible to develop a Legacy version of Canvas Blocker with the protection feature in question which is available from version 0.5.4.

    Probably good news from Fedor2.

Unfortunately I do not have the time to create (and maintain) a new legacy version of CB. The changes I would have to make are just too big.

    Sorry.
