Which updates for .NET Framework 1.1 SP1 are still relevant until today?
KB2931352
KB2972207
KB2978114
KB3037572
Taking a closer look at the file sizes (WindowsServer2003-KB2931352-x86-ENU.exe and so on for W2K3) looks like latest 3 are still relevant. Who can made a corresponding modified updates for XP?

What guys do you think about this KB3037639 update file? Safe or not?
Well it is unofficial (without digital signature) but looks very similar to official Windows XP updates...

Sorry for the noob question but why it was necessary to integrate Internet Explorer 8 in this distribution? It is well known that Windows XP is based on Internet Explorer 6 which is very closely integrated with the operating system's kernel and IE6 security updates contain updates for several Windows XP system files. Therefore IE6 security updates declare themselves as 'Security updates for Windows XP' and not as 'Security updates for IE6'. Internet Explorer 8(and 7 too) are like foreign objects for Windows XP. Security updates for IE7/8 are totally independent from Windows XP and won't update those system files. Novadays it's better not to use Internet Explorer in Windows XP for internet surfing anyway and choose a modern secure browser (like Chrome or Firefox). But at the same time it's better to have the system files updated to the latest versions IMO. Sorry for my English...

Hi! I have a quick n00b question: why the KB2962872 (IE6) update for POSReady 2009 was withdrawn? It seems the culprit is browsewm.dll v.6.00.2900.6576 (xpsp_sp3_qfe.140526-1536) but what's wrong with it? Please help I really want to know the answer. Thanks in advance!
