Looks like no more blinky glitches in 1.56!

Doctorwizz, don't I recall reading that you are running multiple graphics cards from different vendors (AMD and nVidia)?
If I've remembered that correctly, that's an iffy setup, and the Aero Glass package could just be asking it to do something uncommon, which the drivers are unable to work out together. AMD and nVidia have never played well together.
That being said, I don't have the ability to extend my Win 10 VM across multiple monitors any more, so I can't verify multi-monitor operation of the latest builds. I wish I did, but I think I'll need an updated version of VMware to accomplish that again. Hopefully they'll release their 2017 version soon (usually they release in the fall).

Great memory! Even I forgot about that. That was a long time ago. It really worked well at the time.
I only use Nvidia in all three of my PC's.
Now, I only use one PC that has a GTX980 and a GTX960. 65" 4K/60 monitor with three 27's on a vertical stand right next to the 65. Denon Atmos/DTS-X. 7.3.2 speakers

I just downloaded and viewed the video. Did disabling the Gaming stuff I mentioned earlier help at all? Something with those silly "features" does not play nice with either of my systems and I know of others that have bizarre issues with them enabled as well, and the problem came only since the release of 1703.
It almost seems like a graphics output issue. What drivers are you using for the 960? If you uninstall the GPU drivers do you still have the blinking.
It is only caused by AG. It has nothing to do with drivers or hardware. I am a PC tech and would know if was that.
Same problem on windows 8.1 when I used it back then. When I rolled back to an earlier version of AG, that blinking stopped. Not sure which version it started. Maybe 1.46 or 1.5. IDK.
I think your suggestion on game mode worked. I had never seen those ghost windows until I installed AG. I don't see them now. At least on this win 10 partition.
I restored an image of my other win 10 partition. So that no longer has AG ATM. That one had a lot of those ghost windows with AG.

Here is some blinking captured. It seems to happen the most when I open Slimjet Chrome and go to www.liveleak.com, open a video, and open the comments to that video. The windows don't blink. Everything else does.

I tried to capture the blinking with active presenter. It didn't work. I will use my phone tomorrow.

I have a multi boot PC. It has 2 identical installs of 15036.540.
AMD FX-8350. Nvidia GTX-980, GTX-960. 3 Monitors at 1080P. One at 4K.
Booted to another partition (C) and the glitches seem to start while using chrome. I use Slimjet chrome. Windows desktop gadgets and Yahoo widgets blinking. Windows don't blink but sometimes I see small squares like a window frame outline.
Has anyone noticed any glitches?
Anyone remember the glitches a few years ago?

Same problem as some older versions. Lots of glitches in windows and desktop gadgets. Disappearing, blinking with multi monitors.
I used to stick with ver 1.31 on win 8.1. There were no glitches. I forget which version the glitching started.

It does not show up orange, and neither do any of the other options.
Yes the included patcher is outdated, I have the same one installed as you linked. Classic Shell may be canceling out the orange affect of OldNewExplorer though as I see in your screenshot.
I uninstalled Classic Shell and rebooted. I still don't get any orange. Love the theme!

I installed that theme on win 10 1703 1503.540 and it works normally with ONE. I had to use a different ux theme patcher 3.2.2from https://www.syssel.net/hoefs/software_uxtheme.php?lang=en
I don't think the patcher that came with it worked.

You should try Classic Color Panel and see if it shows orange by the the "window" button. And change it to whatever you like.

That is for Win 8.1-Ten final build. It is not a develpmental version and the watermark can be removed by donating.

Oh wait.
How do you exit from fullscreen after CTRL+click on the max button? Like the restore button?
If you move mouse to the top edge of your display, it will roll down the titlebar and it allows you go back just by pressing Restore button.
But there seems to be some bug in Win10 that this titlebar does not show sometimes
Yeah that bar never appears for when using modernframe dll.
Works only on first run. When that bar doesn't show, you have to close ApplicationFrameHost window.
Good one that works

I can shift+ right click on the taskbar button from another monitor, but the restore button doesn't work.
If I shift+ right click and select maximize, I see a small area on the whole width of the top where the title bar should be. I can then shift+right click and select restore which puts the window back to fullscreen.

doctorwizz: use CTRL+ click on maximize button to switch to fullscreen
Ok that works. TY

There is a transparent option in windows 10. Look at the bottom of this image.

I have the same theme atlas as I published before. I haven't generated one for the latest build yet, nor do I know I need to.
My unexpected 10159 update has stalled at 98%, even though I have left it several hours. It was probably a mistake by Microsoft.

Try rebooting. If that won't work do this:
Stop the Windows Update service in services.
Then delete the contents of C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download (it won't delete the update already downloaded)
Start the Windows Update service.
Check for windows updates.

Is there a way to remove the program? Don't get me wrong, I really like it, but this computer is pretty old and apparently can't handle Aero Glass well. This machine just got a lot laggier. Maybe I should just get a new one sometime but I need to remove the program but I don't see it listed under "remove programs". Is there something else I'm supposed to do instead?
There is an uninstall in the aero glass folder.

How can I fix this gap? Not sure how this happened. It grows smaller or bigger depending on the number of open windows. Happens on secondary monitor too.
It's not like this on another pc. 3.6.5
