  1. I am unable to launch the settings modern application from the start menu. I am able to launch it from the notification pane but nowhere else. Typing into the start menu also will not allow it to be launched including trying to open any sub-options that display in the results.

This all started after a Windows Update I suppose, not 100% sure. I was missing the icon from the taskbar where it was pinned but I was also unable to find most of the modern apps in the Start Menu including Edge. I was able to restore those but then lost the ability to launch settings.

Is there a way to get this back? I am downloading the Win10 Creators ISO now to attempt a repair.

You must also tweak the Glass Color in the AeroGlassGUI app to same active accent color!  ;)

That helped a little bit but there is still a color difference that I can see in the same location. I am unable to completely blend the window border with the title bar.

I believe the issue is with Noel's theme atlas, as the default glass settings with no custom atlas don't have a window frame. Just the transparent title bar.

  3. Noel/bm, I am seeing this when using the roundednocolors theme atlas.

Edit, I set the glass geometry radius to 20 and it took that corner and made it much rounder but it's not as clean still as in Noel's screenshots in the release thread.

Edit 2, I am seeing this on the modern windows:

  4. I edited both versions of Crystaleight (Flat and Skewed) for the latest build of Windows 10.

    No layout files?

Working fine for me, with just the regular adblock. So somehow, even though you're the one with the "strict computer management", it was MY fault that you can't view this? Sorry, but that logic doesn't make sense.

Since you use IE, you can choose which sites you want to auto-load and which sites you want to choose to load or not manually as you visit them. http://www.howtogeek.com/188059/how-to-enable-click-to-play-plugins-in-every-web-browser/

But you chose to not have Flash installed at all. Not my problem.

  6. "You might want to try to find a less intrusive way to share your photos." isn't condescension.

Here's some condescension:  How about going and finding something better to do than hassle someone on a forum who followed your link with intention of trying to help you about advising you to use a better posting service.  I don't know what, maybe like finding a better posting service.

Someone who can't be bothered to post more than a one word question and a link to a site laden with ads shouldn't be pointing fingers about who's rude.

Or, you could.. I dunno, install an adblocker maybe? I use tinypic a lot, never had an issue. Be less paranoid, not all sites are out to get you.

And since you know such good things, besides Youtube, what would YOU recommend to use to host videos and photos for posting to forums? I believe instead of crying about "sites laden with ads" you could be better suited to provide info an a good alternative and be helpful.

  7. I'd have tried to help if I could see the video.  As it was all I got was an attempt to show me ads (which failed) and run flash.  People who try to push ads on others, even out of ignorance, deserve what they get.

I didn't personally push the ads on you, so your condescension was unnecessary.

I don't know about others, but I see nothing related to this thread at that link, just a note that "This site requires Flash 9".  You might want to try to find a less intrusive way to share your photos.

You could also learn to be a little less rude. It was a video and I don't run my own webserver and needed a place to display the video I recorded of the bug in action.

Thanks for your insightful help, though.  :thumbdown
