My version of the CP theme, it's a bit of a mix with most things squared off to match the frame style and also has a few bits from the RTM theme as well to give it a better flow.
Download the theme from Mediafire, there is also a reg file to change the system metrics.

EDIT: Is not working the theme! On my computer with windows 8.1 and with all the windows updates it does not work because no difference after applying.
With my vmware with windows 8.1 and no windows update installed it works .. Here the problem! The theme need update.

The last few days I've worked on a Windows 8 CP theme. Here is how it looks at the moment. Compare with the screenshot from post 92 and tell the differences if you find some

I believe you have to use the Security Tab on the properties of the 3 files
I have try but after that Windows tells me that it's files are already in use.
I figured it out. You may have to have the "explorer.exe" not running while using the Task Manager to replace the RibbionUI or If you're dual booting Windows on your main computer. Go to the other operating system and replace the Ribbion Files there.
I also found out there is RibbionUI Files in the SysWOW64 folder. Which can only be used by the SysWOW64 folder from the Consumer Preview.
However, I believe this could somehow conflict with installing or updating Modern Apps via Windows Store, I am not sure.
If you ever use a task that requires "sfc /scannow" via elevated command prompt. The process will switch the Ribbon files back to their original ones. Is there a way to go IN to the Ribbion DLL files to replace only the images contained within the Ribbon, without completely changing the UI DLL file itself.

Non flat is no problem. Just replace the uiribbon.dll and the corresponding mui files with the ones from the Consumer Preview. Done that some time ago.
That theme are you using currently on this screenshot.

Thanks for the update. On Beta 2, I still have problems with my second monitor. Similar symptoms as last time however, instead of having an after image of what was last displayed on the second monitor, it is just black. I can still see mouse pointer on it.
GPU is GTX570

I had the same problem my second monitor is my TV not work great with this mod. No matter that this is the beta 1 or 2, I have uninstall aero glass for now and it works well. Waiting for new version!

Thanks i have the files , now I want to move them to C:\Windows\System32. Can not copy any files even in safe mode, I tried to give me the rights necessary not working either .. How do I do that?

You need 3 files, UIRibbon.dll, UIRibbonRes.dll and UIRibbon.dll.mui, just tried it and it worked.Can you tell me the files of the ones to get from Consumer Preview other than the UIRibbon file and the corresponding mui ones from the en-US folder, just to make sure I'm getting the right ones? If you can, that'd be great. I've always remembered the Non-Flat Ribbon that use to be in Consumer Preview. I thought to myself, Why couldn't Microsoft leave that alone?

1 small edit on the DWMGlass.dll file (Edited using Resource Hacker, probably the most basic program one can use. Idk)

Windows 7 Color Swatches (Aero Glass needs to be active)
How i can have the blue like you? I have applied your reg file, but no difference.
After you have Aero Glass working, meaning the window frames are transparent the Color Swatches from Windows 7,In that reg file, are suppose to work automatically, because the color info and the images from the "Color and Appearence", I believe read off the "DWMGlass.dll" file. As long as that dll file is active the new pre-set Windows 7 colors work.
Whenever you have the DWMGlass.dll inactive, meaning when it's not showing Aero transparency on the window frames, there's a "Error loading Pre-set Colors message." I'm not sure if that's your case.
How to the colors appear on your Color and Appearence Window?
I have no errors, but if I select the third as you, it's very dark ..
Whoever is automatic it is also dark more than windows 7 here's the difference..
I see, I believe it has something to do with how much the theme has changed from 6.1.7601 (Windows 7) to 6.2.9200 (Windows 8) and beyond. The colors needed to be changed as well to fit the new theme for 8
.As u see in this screenshot here, this is an older version of Windows 8, which still had the Windows 7 color swatches along with the Automatic colorization but the theme itself is still Aero built-in before it was taken out.
In your picture .. the transparancy is not really there I noticed also in fact it has a transparency option. The previous pictures you put it was with windows 8.1 RTM?
The picture with the Consumer Preview, the transparency is there, it's just harder to see when you're on an Active Window.
This pic here, could be RTM, but then again I downloaded this via Windows Store on the day it came out on October 17th via Microsoft website. Runs a lot better than the RTM that got leaked back in September.
You have the same build as me ( 9600 RTM 8.1 ) I have downloaded this iso since 3 weeks in torrent which comes from MSDN is the same thing.
Can you post the files you have changed in the aero glass for this blue? and what theme you have, this is important?

It's a shame that it is not updated for 8.1 any idea when? I have try BigMuscle's Aero Glass but it is in beta, and it has a disturbing the command prompt. Yes i have the aero skin in classic shell.

What are you talking about? Could you really be expressing impatience that BigMuscle hasn't released his product for an OS that's not yet officially released? How fast do you expect him to work?
ClassicShell 4.0 works fine with Windows 8.1.
BigMuscle's Beta 1 version of Aero Glass for Win 8.1 works with Windows 8.1. It's just not finished.

Yes i have windows 8.1 pro with classic shell and is working fine , i really good soft!
I have try aero glass beta 1 is working but the command prompt is disturbing , I'll try again in the final version.I also said the theme that i wanted to try xXiNightXx but is impossible for now. I love the work of big muscle.
