  1. Hi guys,

I recenlty got access to good ftp network and I need help on creating start page where link would be located to my x64 pack + addons

Right now I'm bit confused why .cab from ftp cannot be downloaded:

    ftp0mz.th.png

I can download it only by filling my link to .cab with username + password. But I don't want to do that because everybody would see login name and password and would do harm to it.

  2. i would if my parents liked listening to shooting and killing all night....

    lol

hehe, i play whenever i want

fear is a scary game, i like the strong language in game ;) When my mom saw that guy on chair when i played fear, she came over and slapped me so hard in the head and the said to me that i get dumber day by day by playing games like that :thumbup

My video card just can't handle that game well, maybe i'll get 32 pipe nvidia card when it will come out

  3. AMD doesn't need more power for their cpus (~120W seems enough), but looks like they fitted DDR2 controller on same pins. There's no way for them to work on current boards, it's DDR2. Chipset + all circuits currently are build for DRR1

I heard that AMD was supposed to integrate PCI Express conroller or something similar on their cpus, that may change pin layout completely.

  4. How about some 1M?

26.390 Sec. That's kinda fast. But I had some screens up to 3200Mhz on AMD opteron but I didn't save them before my CPU died.

DDR626 on cheap OCZ, who can do that? :thumbup

  5. Looks great ripken

    Right now:

    CPU at 2.80Ghz 1.68volts B) 26C idle and 37C full load

    At stock speeds 1.8Ghz + 1.36volts 23C idle and 26C load

IHS is off, cpu's core lapped + heatsink lapped

Mobo 28C idle, ~38C when running Prime

Hdd 38C, too much. Normally 28C in a case cooled by 2x80mm fans in front

    Here's mine:

    ^^ There's a 151cfm 120mm fan on Big Typhoon, somehow loud :thumbup

It's not anymore in a case because I'm waiting to put this baby under DryIce, my container hopefullly will be ready this weekend, made from aluminium 10" tall and 3" wide. DryIce has ~-79.5'C Temp. Hopefully my Opteron 146 comes from RMA soon, if not, then I'll have to torture poor Venice :D

  6. Do you have a pic without the plastic over it? And was the IHS making contact with the core when you removed it? I don't want to take unnecessary risks...

You'll have to sand little 4 feet on the plastic that is attached to mobo in front by two screws, but that's n00b easy to do. I always put heatsink on cpu and then take it out and look underneath cooler to see if thermal compund is on it, if it is, then contact between cpu's core and heatsink is good. And iI always lap both the cpu core and heatsink.

  7. Opteron146_Pic1.jpg:P

You insert razor blade in the middle of left part of cpu, and then slice through silicon with pliers

Take a look at your pu, you'll see smal gap, about 2cm, that's were you insert blade

I used small blade from generic shaving razors, just crack the plastic on 'em and take out the razor

  8. I had one, 0540 stepping, it was second of best ocers. Ran 3030Mhz completely stable, that's more than unrealesed fx-59 by 30Mhz + had memory running at ddr606 with VERY TIGHT tmings (Did Super PI 1M calc very close to 26sec.) I managed to take suicide screen at 3300MHz and ran many benchmarks ot 3150Mhz. I was so ready to put that cpu under dry ice at -79C. Hell, cpu died week ago, R.I.P :realmad:

AMD is p***in me off, they don't want sell good stuff, they'll probably be crying when iintel will release 65mn cpus and yohans cpu with shorter pipelines that will have potential and amd will be still stuck with dell crap and not wanting to ship reasonable amounts of cpus to retailers.

  9. Can you check for stability first. Please download this app http://superpi.radeonx.com/super_pi_mod-1.4.zip and run 32 Million Pi calculation, should take less than 30min, this will ultimately test system's memory sunsystem including ram and chipset. Next thing would be running Prime95 stable at least for 1h, this will test your processor. http://www.mersenne.org/freesoft.htm In the end you should upgrade your forceware drivers to latest beta guru3d.com http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=1210 I believe 81.84 are latest.
