  1. Was it my imagination or did somewhere in the 90 pages it mention a reg item to highlight the titlebar text at some point? This transparency / blur is lovely, but I can't read the title bar text quite a bit due to stupid MS setting it in black. Would be nice to have the 'glow' effect on the text, or be able to make the text white. I don't particularly want to run a ThemePatcher and an entire custom theme just to change this, would be magical if this program had the choice of white/black title bar text and/or glow text. Thanks.
  2. Just if people are interested, Stardock have released Window Blinds 8 beta (v7.90). Just tried it, works well, even got a 'windows 8 RTM' style theme, with transparency, blur, and highlighted/glowing text in the title bar. Would be good to see this released still mind due to it supporting the default windows 8 style with transparency, and supporting actual windows skins. Edit : Discovered a few things that don't work with window blinds already, so had to turn it off (probably could go through the usual app exclusion stuff, but can't be bothered) so hope this comes out soon as final release without the dialog box!!!
  3. Hi, just to give some feedback on RC1 - all working so far! Well done. Not found any problems and both transparency and blur working nicely, and working on both monitors! Well done. (Bog standard install, no custom themes, no swatches edit, nvidia graphics card with latest drivers).
  4. Hi, just tried the 0.9. This version is now 'working' on multiple monitors. Well done, you're getting there Just a couple of observations: I only had transparency, not blur, but that is fine for me, just getting the transparency back feels like windows is a lot nicer to look at. Getting a strange effect on mouse over where things don't seem to be redrawing properly - like the system tray icons in the taskbar, or having a toolbar on the taskbar. Or in Office 2010 on the ribbon menus. Basically when the mouse leaves, it look as if the mouse is still hovered over it. If that makes sense. And when I tried to take screenshot - the screenshot didn't have the mouse over effect on it! lol. So can't attach a screenshot ... Thank you for your hard work.
  5. I've been watching this for a while, and just tried the BETA 1 in a 64 bit VM, and it seems to work very nicely. Well done Mr Muscle. Was getting tempted to try this on my main machine, but, I noticed that the registry already has something in the AppInit_DLLs value in the registry: C:\PROGRA~2\NVIDIA~1\3DVISI~1\NVSTIN~1.DLL It's the NVIDIA 3DVision DLL? Does this mean that the reg file provided will overwrite that value, and not start another DLL which should start? Just thought I would check before I try it on my main machine. Thanks.
