  1. yep can confirm that last compatible theme by gsw953onDA was Win10 RS5.. you have to make a few fixes to make it work on the latest build of Windows, but its worth the effort - his themes are (or were) really one of the best... sadly, his profile on deviantart was deleted recently... if you'll lucky you might be able to rescue some of those themes from Web Archive
  2. and what is the custom theme you're using? It could be that the theme isn't compatible with the latest windows build not the OldNewExplorer since you're here first (I think..) with compatibility issues with that latest update
  3. didn't have any problems with update 2004 (but I'm not using the default Windows theme) ... you can't see the UI changes made in the settings window or how exactly it doesn't work?...
  4. I get that it's maybe more touchscreen / tablet friendly, but I think UI changes related to using Windows like this shouldn't be forced upon you globally or it should be optional setting at least...
  5. seems rather like a problem with the custom theme you're using than a problem with OldNewExplorer - what theme is that?
  6. search box is broken by Microsoft not by OldNewExplorer MS promised to fix it in upcoming update(s)..
  7. Well, at least the 1.1.8.5 version works still fine with the latest Windows build for me so there's no need to rush him
  8. Well, that's maybe why it's not happening to all the people on the latest build of Win10..
  9. isn't by any chance your Win10 localization other then English?
  10. Actually the settings are still in registry, even if you open the settings window there's everything set as it was before and it says OldNewExplorer is installed, but it actcs as if it is not and only uninstalling and installing applies the changes again... even restarting of explorer.exe doesn't fix that...
  11. I can confirm that - happens to me as well... It also happens after every restart of the OS..
  12. try some themes from Greg (gsw953onDA / Deviantart) his UIFILES from shellstyle.dll's are a good starting point
  13. I'm not trolling... sure it would be awesome if there was info about version and even changelog but since there's only one link to choose from then I don't really mind... that's all
  14. it could... probably - but since there's always been only one version available for download (always the latest one) and it's FREE then you can't (at least you shouldn't) really complain..
  15. these are just -90° shifted (on the HUE scale) from the original blue ones... or do you need a different kind of green? DISABLED96.bmp ENABLED96.bmp HOT96.bmp PRESSED96.bmp
  16. I don't see any problem with your partition layout - EFI system parittion & Recovery partition should remain hidden... to get rid of the legacy boot menu and restore Win8 gui boot menu simply use command "bcdboot c:\Windows" if you need to recover & repair older or corrupted boot entries, Visual BCD Edior is good tool to achieve this goal )
