My opinion there is a difference to remove packages with
1-) start /w pkgmgr.exe /o:%IMGMOUNT%;%IMGMOUNT%\Windows /up:Package
(/up is only uninstall package not removes totaly??)
and
2 start /w pkgmgr.exe /o:%IMGMOUNT%;%IMGMOUNT%\Windows /n:remove.xml
(remove.xml has "remove" and "permanent" options in it)
Is there difference or both does same things??
And i successfully did what i have read in this topic but everytime i uninstall a packet my pending.xml and winsxs folder getting bigger. When i finished winsxs was 2.7GB At setup windows tries to prosess pending.xml and setup takes very longer i think.

Hmm that is indeed annoying. Is it too much to remove them all and just add back the ones you want?
no. it not works. i think i found somewhere else. they are creating and xml and using pkgmgr to remove. i dont know if it removes the files also or only dont installs. because its name seen by peimg but with a minus sign.

after you mount your image, try peimg /list to see a list of installed packages. The name your package has might differ than what you are typing in.
but there are 3 from same packet and all in same name only languages are different, if i use to uninstall command it removes all. forexample there is main package, english mui of that package and turkish mui of same package, i cant select seperately to remove, i cant remove only english mui of that package forexample. can i tell peimg to remove by language of a component.

I succesfully worked everything with this
cdimage.exe -l"BOOT_AIO" -t03/22/2008,13:00:00 -h -j1 -b"C:\boot.bin" -o -m "C:\BOOT_AIO" "D:\BOOT_AIO"
now. MiniKnoppix, UBCD v3.4, UBCD v4.1, VistaPE, WinPE, Hiren, Acronis isos, etc. all succesfully boots. i dont think there is another solution. tried all. use cdimage.
Here boot.bin is bcdw 1.50z loader.bin
in bcdw.ini
/BOOT/loader.bin ; Boot UBCD v3.4 ; UBCD v3.4 baslat.^
/isolinux/isolinux.bin ; Boot UBCD v4.1 ; UBCD v4.1 baslat.^

I selected the show internet explorer destop shortcut from nlite options, but i doesnt works as a wish. I don't blame nlite, can be from something else i did but I should disable it manualy now. What and on which setup file should i change now. Where nlite makes this change at setup files?
Nobody helps ?

Can anybody say me that how can ı disable update notification? I really need that because ı dont want to use newest version. In the latest version livecall.exe uses extra ram how can ı disable it to run or get out from msn? Thanks for helps.

Auto arrange need me because when ı boot winxpe, ı am changing my resolution and icons spread and not seem fine ı am not sure from aboves is there anyone another idea?
For removable storage ı deleted CLSID entries about it but not succesed. Maybe ı didn't want to spend time. When ı burn iso and test sometimes not gives that error, surprised?
Anyway,
I finished my cd. It's great. But my only problem is it works on vmvare but not boots on cd

Thanks but ı know that. Firstly if you use sherpya's plugin with MMC stuffs on it mostly works. Also ı have most of them working. Only ı want to get rid of that error message at all start up. Not to working problem. Second also ı know working with REGMON or MULTIMON but they give so much changing keys because of this reg tweak works with explorer.exe Only ı want to learn from simple way (with asking help). I know it's only a simple key. Probably most of the cleaver men who reads this forums can give the answer to me. But I DON'T KNOW. Ok.

Give Ownership System to Everyone

is it possible to change ownership of all files in windows folder? possible? how? after that can we use that operating system as windows xp? (it never say that i don't have permission to delete or change the file)
