  1. People, people, please get off the Bean!!! It's hard for him to breathe with a bunch of people on top of him. Mr. Bean
  2. @LostInSpace2012: You say, "There's got to be an idea for a new sig in this thread...." Here it is my friend. It's new, because I just made it!!! maximum MSFN size, 380x100px:
  3. Yes, indeed, LostInSpace2012. I can't believe how long she flawlessly held that note near the end of the song! AGGRO live at the Cactus Club in San Jose October 1st 2000:
  4. @Kel: You say, "Thank you for another edifying piece of drivel....." Since ROTS's post had to do with food and drink, I think you could have said, "Thank you for another eatifying piece of drivel....." @ROTS: Keep 'em coming! I enjoy meandering down the road less travelled, like Dorothy going to Oz.
  5. I'm sure all of you know people who are two-faced (http://www.merriam-webster.com/thesaurus/two-faced). Some of them are all smiles and friendly toward you on the outside, while you just know for sure that they feel just the opposite and hate you on the inside. Here is a userbar I made on November 15, 2013 to let those jerks know that we see through their two-faced behavior: H A V E A N I C E D A Y L A R R Y B 1 2 3 4 5 6
  6. Apache -- Five Spirits (full album) While listening, please remember that the only TRUE Americans are the Native Americans!
  7. @buyerninety: I just sent dencorso a new PM, and everything worked OK: the message was sent successfully and it appears in my list of messages so that I can communicate with him in this new PM thread, as usual. I have no idea what happened to rectify this situation. My best guess is that the gremlins get confused, sometimes, and work in a *positive* manner. (lol) Thanks again, buyerninety, Larry
  8. WOW, buyerninety, thank you so much for your detailed, analytical, well-thought-out response!!! Since so much of your analysis concerns dencorso's state of affairs, from his point of view, I'll ask him to respond, through a PM thread we've already established. Thanks again, Larry
  9. Björk, an Icelandic singer and songwriter, is one of my favorite musical artists. I just made a music post for two of her songs that I like -- at http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/5150-what-are-you-listening-to/?p=1084603 Here are three userbars I made about her: l a r r y l o v e s b j ö r k m u s i c b j ö r k l o v e s l a r r y in my dr ea ms
  10. Two music videos from Björk: All Is Full Of Love (fantasic live performance) Army Of Me
  11. Donovan, "Hurdy Gurdy Man". Man, that's a real Hurdy Gurdy song, Man !!!
  12. In this post, I'm presenting one of the very first animated userbars I made (on March 18, 2012). I hope you enjoy it, especially those of you, male and female, who like to wear tampons. 13. I tried to send a new PM to dencorso and got a message stating that he is no longer receiving new messages. I then communicated with him through a PM thread that we had already established, and he said he has been receiving new PMs from others as usual. Later he said that my new PM to him arrived, from his point of view, in spite of the message I got. But my new PM to him did not show up on my list of messages, making it impossible for me to communicate with him about the new topic in the usual manner. What's up with all that? Please solve this problem. Thank you very much. Larry
  14. M.I.A. is one of my favorite musical artists. She is is a multi-talented British-Tamil singer, recording artist, songwriter, rapper, visual artist, activist, record producer, photographer, fashion designer, and model. I posted two of her music videos at http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/5150-what-are-you-listening-to/?p=1084033 These give give an idea of her artistic range. As I often do with artists I like, both musical and visual, I make a series of userbars about them, over time, when I think about them. Here are five userbars I made for M.I.A. during the months of March through October, 2013, listed in the order in which I made them:
  15. One of my favorite artists, M.I.A. rebel punk mode, "Born Free", live performance on Letterman, July 13, 2010: pretty beauty mode, "XXXO":
  16. The title of this thread asks, "What are you listening to?" Well, right now, I'm not listening to anything. That explains all the blank space below this sentence. Larry
  17. @jaclaz: This very, very OFF TOPIC post is influenced, in part, by my ebullient frame of mind knowing that Raju and his companions are safe and happy now. You commented and about seize and cease. Being from Italy, I'm sure you're familar with Julius Seizure -- Roman general and dictator (c. 100 BCE–44 BCE) who turned the Roman Republic into the powerful Roman Empire. A coup ended his reign, and his life, on the Ides of March, when his pet elephant, Brutus, stepped on him and crushed him. And Julius' last words were, as everyone knows, "Et tu, Brute?". Here is a black and white photograph of Julius Seizure taken by Ansel Adams: Larry That's my name, not the name of the individual in the above photograph. His name is Julius Seizure, as I've cogently explained, and as you can clearly see if you closely examine the tattoo behind his left ear lobe.
  18. Hi, LostInSpace2012: I have a very, very serious question regarding your comment, "They're basicaly for the "shock and awe" effect, something to scare your parents." What if both your parents are dead ??? Will the music still scare them ??? Speaking of "dead", here's a fantastically great song by the Dead Kennedys, "Kill the Poor":
  19. Thanks so much for taking time to post this follow-up, monroe. The pictures are happily magnificent. They made my day. Correction: They made my week.
