Cold mold on a slate plate, but here you go: http://www.mediafire.com/view/?dw1b260aeic46fe
Also, since you're having a vote on start menu banners, why not include the one I made a few pages back? Sure, it doesn't really fit in with the Windows 98 default style, but hey, it's optional anyway so we should be allowed to have some creative freedom .

Hi Problemchyld!
I've been an SP3 user for a few months, and I must say that I'm incredibly grateful for your hard work. SP3 has not only made my system faster, but also much, much more stable. Adding to that, I'm no longer dependent on Microsoft keeping W98 updates on their website. You've really helped making Win9x computing much more enjoyable. Thank you!
Sadly I cannot contribute much in terms of testing since I mainly use Windows 98 for gaming, though I can contribute with some artwork. Here's some start menu banners I made:
Contrary to what you may think at first, they are actually 16-color images, though they use an adaptive palette. And yes, they work - even in safe mode (though they do look a little crap with the standard 16-color palette).
Here's a .zip containing the bitmaps: http://www.mediafire...vx77rvq1w3d3d7d
If you have any suggestions or requests, please tell me about it.

Sorry about my absence, guys; I completely forgot about this topic.
I've included Kallon's updated theme in the OP, along with his screenshots. I also released a new theme, called 2K6. See the OP for information.
Again, thanks a lot for contributing!

@CharlesF: Excellent themepack Charles! Nice to see themes I hadn't seen before.
@kallon: These are actually really nice . All the colors seem to harmonize really well. I'll add them to the OP right away!
Also, thanks a lot for the positive feedback on OS9X. And yeah, I'll probably change the font style; the bold text is a bit tedious to read.

Finally uploaded the OS9X theme, and also updated the OP. Sorry for the long wait!

Sorry, but what are you talking about? I uploaded files there just a few days ago, and I've never had to install anything.I have a new update ready. It won't be on mediafire.
They want me to install that Bull$h!+ on my computer, and I aint doing it.
I shouldn't have to download something in order to upload.
What's wrong with people these days. They have something good then screw it up. I need a new reliable host.

I've been working on a new theme for a while, and here's the result:
I'll post the DL a bit later.

That's a very nice theme you've got there, kallu

Hello there fellow RP9'ers.
Since there is a lot of discussion going on in the RP9 development topic, most themes posted there will drown in the high amount of posts. Therefore I found it neccessary to create a thread devoted to the Uberskin themes.
Just post your theme, preferrably with a screenshot, and I'll add it to the OP.
Svenne's Themes
Whistler 98
This was the first RP9 theme I made, and also the first one to be released to the public. It's greatly inspired by Windows Whistler's (early XP beta) default theme, and comes in three variants: Default, Black and Luna.
Mobility
My second RP9 theme, based off a cellphone theme I made, which in turn was based upon the black Windows Mobile theme.
OS9X
My latest (and dare I say, greatest) RP9. It's heavily inspired by Mac OSX's default theme. This was requested some time ago in the RP9 topic by some guy who I can't remember. Sorry about the long wait, but here it is!
2K6
A theme heavily inspired by the design trends of Windows XP themes back in 2006; candy black title bars, shiny buttons and start buttons with text on them. I made this because I got fed up by all this nonsensical minimalism.
Kallon's Themes
GuiStyle
A very nice looking and colorful theme, based upon the Trilian theme with the same name.
(sorry, no screenshot)
Vista Sephia
A simple, yet nice edit of RP9's Vista theme (which is actually Longhorn, but who cares?).
Zune Final
A recolor of Microsoft's Zune theme.
Royale Color
A recolor of the Royale theme.
Other Resources
The RP9 Configuration website has a bunch of themes at the bottom of the page.
User CharlesF has made a compilation of all known RP9 themes (at least those worth your concern ): http://speedy.sh/bSCbM/RP9-Skin-collection-v2.rar

The latest version of CCleaner 2 should work (2.36 IIRC?).

There are some unofficial graphics drivers for the 8xxx series.

I've heard there is software that allows Win9x to read/write to NTFS partitions, but I'm not sure.

Thanks

Why isn't FF 3.6.13 included in the results?

Avast 4.8 can be downloaded if you enter the URL manually.

I use the 'Update File' function.
EDIT: Added your changes to the skin. New download link, because for some reason there's a limit of 5 file updates. http://www.mediafire.com/?iyai4ue0ajobs7e

Happy new year MSFN!
I made another theme today. I call it 'Mobility', mainly because it's based off a cellphone theme I made (and the fact that I cannot think of a better name at the moment).

Screenshots coming tomorrow!

You have Windows 98 SE with all the latest updates?

Install K-Ex 4.5 RC5 (no need to uninstall the old version, I think)
Install FF 3.6 or 4.0 beta.
Done.

Does anyone know how to translate it? I have the swedish version of Windows 98, so I can't use it.

What exactly is natural shell file name sorting?
I think it sorts files in folders by name automaticly?
Anyway, since RP9 is fairly finished now, how about adding skinning for other GUI elements such as tabs?

CCleaner 2.x works on Windows 98, at least if you have KernelEx.

Welcome back Charles, and thanks a lot! And yes, 2K6 is a bit similar to Mobility, mainly because I just like that general style, and wan't happy with how Mobility looked. Now that I've done 2K6 I might try something different though
Also, thanks for the compilation; I've put it in the OP.
