  1. Hi, I've built a multiboot DVD with many applications using AeroStudio. It works fine on older computers and virtual machine for example Oracle VM. When I want to run some application on for example laptops they don't boot. I see black display and nothing is running. This includes all BOOTMGR applications and some other, Knoppix. On older computers there is no problem booting it. Does someone have a similiar problem? How can I solve it? Thanks for help in advance
  2. Hi, I have build a multi DVD using BCDW and everything works fine. Lately I found Aero Studio 2008 and I would like to rebuild my multiboot DVD using Aero. I managed to boot almost everything except Windows Live CD, build by pebuilder and UBCD4Win (ultimate boot CD for Windows). It's booting fine, but after it nothing happens. I don't see the desktop and any icons too. It stands. To the image I took the files from the DVD build by BCDW. If I try to create ISO file using Aero and putting Windows Live Cd files into the ISO, Aero crashes or doesn't create the ISO. I boot UBCD4WIN using the command: bcdw /UWIN/setupldr.bin boot another images are booting (Windows XP install, ERD) How can I solve this problem?
  3. Yes, but I copied a 32 bit version and it doesn't work properly. The 64 bit version didn't start. But I tried the instructions from the topic on Windows Vista and 7, but there are 64 bit. Does it disturb? What else can I do?
  4. I followed the instructions here and runned bcdedit on Windows VIsta, 7 and copied the bcdedit.exe to Windows XP and it doesn't work. I wrote: bcdedit /store bcd /enum and I see the following error: bcdedit /store bcd /enum It appears on every operating system. It also tried 3 different images Active Boot Disk, Eset RescueCD ,Searach and Destroy. And it doesn't work. What can I do with it?
  5. I didn't think about that. He has got a 64 bit Windows 7 and I have got 32 bit Windows XP. Could you plese send me your bcdedit.exe. I would be grateful.
  6. My friend sended me bcdedit.exe file from Windows 7, but it doesn't work. If I try to run the program, I see an error (I have polish Windows XP, so I don't know, if I translated it properly) bcdedit.exe isn't a true Win32 application. Does the error depend on it, that the file is broken or how can I solve my problem?
  7. Hi, I read the post and I downloaded the file. It's great. But I have a problem. I can't use this method on Windows XP. So I have a request to someone. Could someone create for me a BCD file, which contains: Active Boot Disk - Loads acd.wim Eset RescueCD - Loads ercd.wim Searach and Destroy - Loads sad.wim Thnanks a lot for help.
  8. Yes, I shuould find, but unfortunately I doesn't work. The DVD is placed on G:\rescue\RescueCD. The ISO image I create with mkisofs.exe with parameters: mkisofs -J -joliet-long -r -o \RescueCD.iso -b bcdw/loader.bin -no-emul-boot -hide bcdw/loader.bin -boot-load-size 4 -log-file aaa.txt . or mkisofs -iso-level 4 -r -o \RescueCD.iso -b bcdw/loader.bin -no-emul-boot -hide bcdw/loader.bin -boot-load-size 4 -log-file aaa.txt . but noone works.
  9. Unfortunately it doesn't work. I wrote this: LABEL knoppix KERNEL /knop/isolinux/linux APPEND knoppix_dir=/knop ramdisk_size=100000 lang=de vt.default_utf8=0 apm=power-off vga=791 initrd=/knop/isolinux/minirt.gz nomce quiet loglevel=0 tz=localtime
  10. Hi, I have got a question how to put more knoppix in a multi DVD. I read the tutorial to http://www.knoppix.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=29193 to run knoppix from my UBCD multi DVD. The knoppix's files are in Knoppix directory and everything work. Now I would like to add new linux, which include knoppix images. I renamed the knoppix directory to knop, and edited knoppix.cfg, for example: LABEL adriane KERNEL /knop/isolinux/linux APPEND knop_DIR=knop ramdisk_size=100000 lang=de vt.default_utf8=0 apm=power-off vga=0x311 initrd=/knop/isolinux/minirt.gz nomce quiet loglevel=0 tz=localtime adriane or LABEL adriane222 KERNEL /knop/isolinux/linux APPEND knop_DIR=/knop ramdisk_size=100000 lang=de vt.default_utf8=0 apm=power-off vga=0x311 initrd=/knop/isolinux/minirt.gz nomce quiet loglevel=0 tz=localtime adriane and I doesn't work. The image is booting, it is searching for knoppix but I receive a message: Could not mount disk to /mnt-system.Starting debugging Shell What did I do wrong? Can someone help me?
  11. Hi, I have got a question about the tutorial. I would like to add Active Boot Disk and ESET SysRescue to my multiboot DVD (which I'm creating using http://www.911cd.net/forums//index.php?showtopic=21956&hl=have+the+same+Joliet+name ). I runed the script on Windows XP, and I got an error, that I haven't bcdedit command. I know, that the command is in Windows Vista and 7. My question is, if I can do my DVD on Windows XP or should I use Windows 7 or maybe there is an other method to add Bootmgr files to UBCD
