could someone explain me please how this can be?
How could it be possible that the Index for Aero is lower than for gaming??
It's reproduceable and i'm using the newest beta-driver.
Nvidia GeForce 9650M GT with 1 GB RAM

for own languages:
- replace the .mui files in IE8.cab with your own
- replace the .chm files in root and inetres.adm with your localized
- copy your localized [strings] sektion to IE.INF
- modify in IE8.inf the following lines:
Copy.IEM.Local = 17,"IEM\0407"
Copy.IE.Local = 16422,"Internet Explorer\de-DE"
Copy.Sys32.Local = 11,"de-DE"
and insert your language..
for example 0409 and en-US

could anyone tell me how to get all Hotkeys working?
I'm using Windows 7 x64 and installed the following things (newer version from this site):
- Wireless Console 3
- ATK Hotkey
- ATK On Screen Descktop 2
- ATK Generic Function Service
- KB_FILTER
- ATK0100 (DriverVer=05/13/2009, 1043.2.15.75)
but i still have to start all the following apps after restarting windows:
- %pf%\ASUS\Wireless Console 3\wcourier.exe
- %pf%\ASUS\ATKOSD2\ATKOSD2.exe
- %pf%\ASUS\ATK Hotkey\HControlUser.exe
- %pf%\ASUS\ATK Hotkey\HControl.exe
without these NO Hotkey is working..
but i'm not able to get the 4 extra keys working which can disable the touchpad for example or change the energy mode!
could anyone tell me how i can get these keys working and how to get these apps to autostart?
yeees.. i tried adding them to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and it worked for all except %pf%\ASUS\ATK Hotkey\HControl.exe because this need admin-rights to run and it just skips it!
and i cannot just install the Asus Driver CD because it says its not for this system.
i do have a Asus L50Vn

Since a few days i got 2 bugs i know from:
1. Visit Windows Update says me i have to install 1 new Update (Defender) but when i want to know which and klick onto the label to show me the updates it just display a empty page! Same with disabled updates. I disabled all 40 Langpacks but now it doesnt show any of them there!
2. Systemrating not available! The Overview of my computer says that the system-rating is not available.. so i just re-performed the scan and it still doesn't display anything! Seems that the Pictures are missing because the text is there!
Both worked few days before!
i'm working on 7 x64 RC1. Installed and working on it since end of April

As the title describes..
if i try to install office 2003 or openoffice it says me that windows installer disallow the installation on a remote desktop connection.
if i use google to find out why i only find pics and threads where they desribe how xp mode work and show that with openoffice or office03
i'm using Win7 x64 RC1 and tried to install the newest openoffice and office03 sp3 admin install

i tryed the following sfx header and it works for me now repacked:

i'm not able to install the new (german) version silent!
every time when i try to run it with /q /qb /qr or so its just opening msiexec.exe (happens when wrong parameters are added)...
just run the file works but is no longer silent like in the older version.
I'm on Xp Pro SP3 with Installer 4.5

i use MY OWN GERMAN IE7 ADDON (www.Sereby.org) and intrgrate it with nlite or my own installer of my updatepack.

hiho,
i don't know where to post it so ask it here:
am i allowed to release an own written application, that uses mkisofs, without making it open source?
i read somewhere that i have to release my app as open source if i want to release it with mkisofs.exe.
could someone please let me know it i'm allowed to use it without releasing as open source!?
