I installed and activated my promotional copy (from a launch party) of Win 7 Ultimate on the D: drive of my Win 7 Home Premium (C: drive) computer, and have been experimenting with multiple booting and XP Mode. I didn't like it. I would like to remove it from this computer and install it instead in a different one. How do I do this? With respect to the "activation," I mean. Do I simply reformat the the drive it's on, install it on the other machine, and then activate it there? My concern is, won't Microsoft see TWO activations of my single-license OS? Am I to somehow de-activate it before reinstalling it on the other computer? And if so, how?!
