  1. i was modifing logonui.exe for my win xp x64 when i noticed there is a syswow64 folder now, besides system32. logonui.exe is in BOTH folders, with diferent size. i was wondering, in the root of the x64 cd, there is an i386 folder, and an amd64 folder. where should i put each logonui ? is it necesary to modify both ?
  2. i was modifing shell32.dll/logonui/iexplore.exe and others for my win xp x64 when i notices there is a syswow64 folder now, besides system32. i notices many of the files i have to modify, are in BOTH folders, some are the same size, some aren-t. i was wondering, in the root of the x64 cd, there is an i386 folder, and an amd64 folder. are the files that go in syswow64 suposed to come from amd64 and the ones on system32 from i386 ?
  3. i used the ofice shinker for mine, but i had office XP. it WAS working, i made many unattended installs where it worked, but in my laast "revision" of "my" nlited windows, i have the same problem. i think that some new update or some tweak i made with nlite is conficting with the shinked install. a manual install of what i want to use, but with the full cd, after installing windows, does work.
  4. this method is not compatible with kasp personal PRO right ? i think that that thing is not added to the reegistry after selecting your key. also, how do u do an unattended install of the PRO version ?
  5. B i tested 5.09 and i dont like it at all.
  6. they keep changing, don-t know why, but i found an APP that does that for me D:
  7. ok, i returned to your .msi because of that ¿im a last version freak, but it wasn-t nice ) i-ll wait for yours, its a pitty that it wont make it into mycurrent unattended CD
  8. is 5.09 "hevier" than 5.08? when i use it, with nothing on the playlist, it loads FIRST the player part, then the playlist, and it takes some time. thene again, i am on my familys pc, i had a mobile XP @ 2500 Mhz with 1 Gb of ram, this one has an XP @ 2000 Mhz and 512, but, its noly winamp, it shouldt make so much diference.
  9. was one of your tweaks to use a custom bootscreen ? i had a similar problem, when i stated workgin with win 2003, i FORGOT that my custom bootscreen was for win xp, so i lft it in the $oem folder and anfter instalation, it wouldn't boot . then, i wanted to use kaspersky, but only a weird "file server" version would work on 2003, so i got that, but i got the bsod after reebooting (because if the installation)
  10. i reinstalled and the "thin that i said would change" for video, WAS diferent for both cards i hink i'll have to manually do that every time
  11. i might have missed some for acceleration (video), because i used regsnap, and i thought those where the only changes. the server manage thing is completely rmeoved by nlite, ans aaudio acceleration seemed to be on by default. i'll try em how i left them in my post, and if it doesn't work, i'll try addyng yours. PD: can it be posible that each instalation you make, has a diferent code, IF, you use a diferent driver ?
  12. remeber that they are still untesded, until i rebuild my .iso. any idea of a soft tha can automatically modify the acceleration part ? or is there a way to use wild cards or something with regedit ?

  15. i recently started working on a windows 2003 server web edition. using nlite and other stuff i know, i made modifications to it, but there are still some that a don't know how to do, to be unattended that is here is the list, if someone knows how to do it (.reg files, etc) i'll apreciate it. 1)disable IE enhanced security 2)disable shutdown event tracker.htm 3)Enable Graphics Hardware Acceleration 4)Enable DirectX 5)Enabling Sound Acceleration (the direct x part, i know how to start the windows sound service) thanx in advance i would need thos done automaticaly
  16. is this ok here, or should i post this on windows 2000/nt/2003 forum ?

  18. but as i said before, i also tryed the latest nlite, and nuhi says its a problem related to performance logs and alerts and/or 16 bit suport (when you remove them) but it worked fine on previous version. but i have more troble, IE and OE where removed without me asking nlite to do it... i'll go to nuhi's thread instas
  19. well, sorry, but, the problem arrised after using the new nlite + this pack (i didn't know about this pack before ) so i asked here, because i know little, and since the framedyn and .net frameworks problem i had apeared at the same time, i first thought it was related (only for "FRAME" on both things )
  20. acording to nuhi it was nlite related. (my problem)
  21. i am slipstreaming sp2 with nlite to a win xp cd with NO updates at all. i'll try the runonce solution because the txtsetup.sif didn't work.
  22. in my case, framedyn.dl_ was also removed from the i386 folder, the other 2 weren't removed. can you tell me what to modify for the other 2, so i can check if everything is OK ?
  23. thx, i'll give it a try. i fond this also: framebuf.dll = 100,,,,,,,2,0,0,,1,2 is that wrong too ? (the 100 instead of 1)
  24. your .net installed fine now (this is to be installed alone, ritgt ? or should i install something before ? ) i read the changes of your patch but there was no mention of taskkill. my unattended cd worked before 2 things: 1) your pack 2) new nlite that did te SAME things + adding your pack do you think i should post this in the nlite thread ? i leave a picture of the error EDIT: after searching my system i found that the file exists in my current windows install, and that it was in the original windows cd and in the Sp2 installer, so maybe something removed it ? i'll try throwing the famedyn.dl_ file into the i386 folder of my unattended cd before macking the iso to see what happens
