Why am I editing my posts after such a long period of time ?
For me PCs are not appliances and I don't see users as consumers. I don't accept knowledge to be monopolized as it is today by big companies, and I don't accept software patents because they are acquired for one thing to restrict innovation and technological advancement.
Thankfully, there are people with good will, have passion for computing, and do great innovation. These people are Free & Open Source Software people/movement.
Today, I am happy I am using Gnu/Linux and Free Software and I am willing to help everyone to get introduced to such a wonderful experience.

hi,
I couldn't find the switches too, then I decided to write my own AutoIt Script.
I would be glad if someone refines it or even find the switches, but then don't forget to post the refinded script back or the switches.
Here is the script & the compiled version. To have it working,
1. download AntiVir and extract the executable
2. run setup.exe which you will find within the folder BASIC
3. run the compiled script
I hope I helped.
See you soon

Hi,
I have a comment on KB814078 "JScript 5.6 Security Patch for Windows 2000 and XP (814078)", It's should be replaced by Windows Script 5.6 for Windows 2000 and XP
why ? Because :
This download installs Microsoft® Windows® Script containing Visual Basic® Script Edition (VBScript.) Version 5.6, JScript® Version 5.6, Windows Script Components, Windows Script Host 5.6, and Windows Script Runtime Version 5.6.
and it's also newer than KB814078.
and Windows 2000 Rollup 1 did not include none of them, so one of them should be included in your CD.
I hope I helped

I think someone tried to install Intel IDE & Chipset Utility for I810 chipsets. That software improves hard disk speed, optimize caching and active UDMA 66.

I have the same problem as you.
I have installed Windows 2003 Service Pack 1 as a main server and added ISA Server 2004 Standard Service Pack 1, while all other machines run Windows XP Service Pack 2. First, I thought it ISA firewall restriction, then I allowed all connections from Local Host (Windows 2003) to (Internal Network); however, I still have the same problem as you described

RIS is available only on Windows Server 2000 & 2003, it does not exist on Windows XP.
if you want to do a PXE Boot I suggest you use Argon Server, it can be installed on Windows XP & does not have some limitations of RIS, such as boot using RPL protocol.

here is the x64 Edition

Hi,
I have just extracted DirectX.cpl form DirectX 9 SDK, so no need for you to download that huge file only to get this tiny file.
Copy it into %windir%\system32 and look in to your system control panel.
You will notice that DirectX Icon there.
Enjoy.
New : a x64 version is available within the Zip.

Hi everyone
If someone was looking for these features I recommend this hardly known firewall :
It uses less than 7MB of Ram, usually it stays at 900Kb
Simple to use & to setup
passed all tests of Shield Up
and what matters most, a FREEWARE
then go here, give it a try. you will be surprised

thanks to everyone.
but I would like to know why it's not recommended to
START > RUN > services.msc > OKLook for "Automatic Updates" and double click it. Click on the "Log On" tab and change it to your likings. I recommend you don't.

test your PC against Spywares using easy to use solutions such Ad-aware, spybot & destroy and Microsoft Anti-spyware
try to use virus/worm cleaners such McAffee Stinger, Avast! Cleaner or TrendMicro Cleaner (this one rocks). they are free of charge.
