    hi all, ok i need a easy i mean easy way for a user to export their event log and email to me, does anyone know of a program that can simply export the eventlog and email to me, or maybe something i can put into a webpage that would read the eventlog and save it as a text file?

    auto lock workstation

    heres the jist, i have 100 pcs running windows 2000 and 5 winxp pcs , i need a way to have every workstation lock after 10 minutes of non use. i knwo of the script that does that or a task that does that, but what i need is a simpilar way of setup on all these workstations of say a logon script that sets this up.

    clipboard not working

    hiya, got a weird problem here,

    got a windows 2000 sp4 pc, that this morning the cut, copy, paste feature stopped working on. i've tried the usual stuff, deleting temp files, resetting ie settings, empting cookies. lowering privacy settings, and security, , i even restarted the clipbook service, all with no luck. and google isnt helping me on this one. any ideas?

    need help with editing domain users on 2003 network

    hi all heres the jist.

    got a network with win 2003 server as domain controllers, running windows 2000 and windows xp clients

    heres the problem we recently changed to this setup and in the process to quickly fix a problem we added the user domain users to the local admin group to give the local users access to make registry edits.

    well now we don't want them to have such rights only users rights. well we tried just removing domain users from the administrators group, then the problems started when we logged back into the users account thei outlook express idenity was gone, and the desktop back ground. so we tried adding domain users bak to the users group that didn't work, then we added it back to administrators, that worked, is there any way for me to fix this, we can not set the policy netowrk wide either. any ideas

    p.s.

    we just found out also that with out that domain users account in their various machines run extremmely slow. don't know if thats related or not
