  1. Hi, when i use nlite it doesnt want to remove keyboard files and language bar disappears. Is it a bug or not? Also about vlite, can you tell me what i need to keep for tts reader to work (when i remove narrator and speech support it doesnt work. Can you make in next version separate options for removing speech recognition and tts reader)?

  5. Hi, just the VLK key or the PID on SETUPP.INI must match a VLK source too? (or the PID isn't related)? I'm kind of confused Maybe a VLK license? jaclaz
  6. Is possible to avoid the 'Activate Windows' after install? What is needed? a VLK source, a VLK key or changing PID? Thanks
  7. how could I create a add-on for it? seems that the catalog file and update.inf should be modified, but how? thanks
  8. The latest Remote Desktop Client was released only for XP and Vista, but I'm using it on Server 2003 with no issues (I've extracted and copied files manually, as update.inf and catalog doesn't match operating system). Is possible to integrate it on Windows 2003? Description: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/969084/en-us Update: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=72158b4e-b527-45e4-af24-d02938a95683&displaylang=en Thanks!
  9. I am trying to create a nice, lightweight installation for a netbook (Acer Aspire A150), but there's a few things I am unable to figure out myself. 1. Under Hardware Support there is an option for "CPU Intel," it sounds quite essential though the computer runs without it; I don't install any drivers for the processor either. Would it be smart to keep this in the installation, or is it unlikely that XP SP3 even has drivers compatible with the Atom? 2. Upon installation I manually install some core drivers such as for audio, video, and networking. Afterwards I still have a few things without drivers and am unable to identify them beyond being part of an Intel chipset. These include: 6x Base System Device, 2x PCI Device, and 1x Unknown Device (possibly for the card readers, but I don't use them). The only thing I can think of that could be helpful would be to stop removing Drivers > Multifunctional and Hardware Support > PCMCIA. 3. The machine (with it's current install) seems to have issues with flash, especially streaming video. It's very choppy and slow to respond. In addition, I occasionally get some lag on the desktop and in explorer despite nothing happening. Could this be related to #2? Do note that all video drivers are installed and working properly. 4. Not completely related, but do I need to keep Network > Vector Graphics Rendering (VML) in order to view .svgs such as those found on Wikipedia? Or is such functionality dependent on the browser and not the OS? 5. Equally unrelated, Services > Shell Services states that removing themes speeds up explorer. Is this referring to the actual removal of shell services, or just the disabling of themes? I'd like to have the option of themes available, but not at the expense of performance no matter how insignificant. Thanks in advance.
  10. Hey, I am needing to make a nLited version of Win XP Tablet PC edition with some added SATA drivers. All the settings are good, but after it starts building the ISO, I find it is adding some wierd stuff from elsewhere on my computer during the integrating drivers portion. Currently it is loading Transporter 3.avi that i have stored on an external drive. It did this for me on VMware with a mac, XP Pro sp3 on a hp pavilion, and xp pro sp2 on a toshiba protege. any idea of whats going on and how to fix it?
