Testdisk seems to found 4 partitions, but how do I recover them? after analysis I still only see one of them.

I would've done that if I could get the data off the other partitions. It had like 4 but I only see one now. I'll try diskpart when I figure out the commands.

So I was trying to put a Win 7 installation onto a partition of an external hard drive using WinToFlash (WTF), but after WTF unable to lock down the specific partition I backed out of it by forcing log out, but now I can only see one of the many partitions on the hard drive. How do I find the other ones?

i meant the default font. like the one it begins with at start up. in word you change the template but wordpad doesn't have a template.

is there a way to change the default from calibri to other ones?

I somehow deleted all the printers on the computer and now Excel can't save documents as PDF. Where do I download a driver for the document printer so I can save as PDF?

yea I checked that. It's in .docx and when I save it defaults to docx but when I create a new document it has "compatibility mode" in the title bar. I even deleted normal.dotm a few times. Normal.dotm it self opens in 2007 format but when I click on the new document it starts in compatibility mode.

i have office 2007 on winXP sp3 at work and every time i create a new document it opens in compatibility mode. how do i turn it off and make new documents open in 2007 formats?

anyway i patched my files and everything is fine now. here's the patcher that i used: UniversalThemePatcher_20090101.zip

after installing SP2 my custom theme stopped working and I suspect it's because SP2 patched uxtheme. does anyone else have this problem?

does chrome work right out of box on the RC? i know you have to modify the shortcut attributes on beta so is it still like that on the RC?

I have HP dv9540us with 2 similar hard drives and i want to combine them so the system uses them as one big hard drive. I'm thinking RAID or SATA or something like that but how do I know if my computer has RAID, and if it does, how do I turn it on?

ok i've hidden it but in the process there was an error saying access denied but i have admin rights...

well i can still see it after making sure it does not show hidden files and folders. i donno what made it no longer hidden.

Ok I'm assuming this is the right place to post this and there are some people willing to look into this. I have vista ultimate x64 SP1 and I can't find a theme that I want to the fullest extent. So I'm putting a request here in case someone does it for fun. Basically you can start with the original Aero frost theme and make the taskbar completely (100%) transparent, even better make it completely invisible when there are nothing on it. The System Tray in the notification area can have black or clear background color for about 3 to 5 icons sticking out. Then make the 3 buttons at the top right colorless when hovered over. Don't worry about the start button as I use Start Killer anyway. Then just make everything else clear. Anyway if anyone know there's a theme already out there that's like this just let me know, or if there's a better place to post requests like this.

that's still alot of things to do -- window key+r then cmd then powercfg then etc. etc. i think it has something to do with allowing the gamepad waking the computer up or something? i googled a bit and it's supposed to be in the device manager then properties but i didn't find anything in my gamepad. right now i just have the screen saver and monitor auto off turned off.
