  1. I thought so too, but "shutdown /l" merely logs me off and sticks me at the logon screen. I don't have to enter a new password, but it won't auto-logon, either.
  2. I know how to use shutdown.exe to do a complete reboot, but is there any command-line way just to log off and log right back in to Windows XP without fully rebooting?
  3. I was under the impression that if cleanup.cmd is in the Install folder, it's supposed to execute automatically. But for whatever reason, it ain't happening for me. Does it have to be "called" from cmdlines.txt like other batch files?
  4. My recollection was that regedit and regedt32 can be used interchangeably in Windows XP. But in any event, the "initialize.reg" file does get entered successfully into the register.
  5. I'm a relative newbie at creating unattended install CDs and am using nLite to build my first ones. I can get cmdlines.txt to run the first command (regedt32) but not the batch file. The contents of my cmdline.txt file appears below. What am I doing wrong? [COMMANDS] "regedt32.exe /s initialize.reg" "batch.cmd"
