  2. Hmmm, that be messed up. I'n gonna test it with memtest but Windows works just fine, its only the games that gives me trouble.
  3. Hello everyone, I just got my mobo a couple of weeks ago and I recently started to play some games on it, but every game I play it always crashes. I played Battle for Middle-earth, F.E.A.R., Quake4 and FarCry. The errors I get are different for every game. I would like some clarity about this cuz its driving me crazy. Is my mobo not compatible with my videocard or what? These are the chipset drivers that I use: Audio driver version 4.62 (WHQL) Audio utility version 4.51 Ethernet NRM driver version 4.82 (WHQL) SMBus driver version 4.50 (WHQL) Memory controller driver version 4.40 GART driver version 4.40 Installer version 4.93 WinXP IDE driver version 4.46 (WHQL) with updated uninstaller files I've tried a couple of things to resolve this but still no luck: 1) Latest ATI driver 5.11 and OmegaDrivers 2.6.75a 2) Turning off FastWrites off in the BIOS 3) Setting the AGP appeture to 64mb and then to 256 4) Playing games without the GART 4.40 driver 5) Playing games with the older GART 4.36 driver 6) Setting the system options in every game to the lowest settings Im in Windows XP Pro SP2 with al of the critical and some recommended updates as of november 2005. Any help would me much appreciated. __________________ DFI LanpartyUT nF3 250Gb (BIOS 6.00 PG 05/04/2005) AMD Athlon 64 3200+ 2.0 GHz Clawhammer 2x Nanya Technologies 512 MB PC3200 ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128mb AGP 8x Hitachi Deskstar 120 GB - SATA Plextor DVD+/-RW PX-708A - IDE Standard PSU 300 Watt
  4. I want to install Windows XP x64 on my DFI nForce 3 250Gb mobo using the floppy F6 method (cuz nLite 1.0 RC3 hangs during its processing) on a SATA hd. But which driver should I use; the old 6.25 beta driver or a newer one v6.67 from Guru3D?
  5. I also haven't been able to make my nLited WinXP SP2 cd due to the makecab error I get. I've tried everything, i used the old makecab version from '97 and the regular one that comes with XP SP2 but still nog luck. I get the error at different stages of the nlite proces. Sometimes, when its integrating hotfixes, sometimes with the driver intergration and sometimes the final 2 steps. Its driving me crazy, i've been trying for days now to make a nlited cd but still no goddamn luck. My system is an AMD Athlon 64 3200+ and a DFI lanparty nforce3 ut 250 gb mobo. Any help would me much appreciated. Oh, and I even tried in Diagnostic mode and safe mode, but i still get the same makecab error. Last_Session.ini
  6. OK, but why not take the other drivers from 6.67 as well?
  7. I have an nForce3 250GB mobo and I wanna install Windows XP Pro SP2, should I just stick to the 5.10 chipset driver that are on the nvidia homepage or install the very latest chipset driver? In the case of the latter which would that be?
  8. If I want to use the F6 option, do I need copy the 6.67 legacy contents and the nvata.cat & nvraid.cat to a floppy disk?
  9. Aight then, it's clear to me now. Thnx alot buddy!
  10. What about the other folders that are in the 6.67 package. The SMBus folder as well as the Ethernet folder contain each 2 different .inf files. Which of the files should I choose with nLite 1.0 RC1? And one more thing, do I also need to integrate a GART driver for WinXP x64 and if so what is the latest version? Isn't the nvata.cat not necessary, cuz I can't find it no where in the 6.67 pack.
  11. Oh CRAP!!!, In that case, can it be installed onto a new partition when I'm in Server 2003 x64?
  12. Does is support SATA hd's with a VIA VT8237 controller chipset?
  13. That's great Gnome, personally I just want a minimalistic WMP10 as possible, just wanna play movies and mp3's with without those other fancy features.
  14. Just a quick suggestion, how about u add more options that we can choose to slipstream, like DRM Features and Portable Media Devices Support, some people might not want those automaticly installed.
