Hello, Context: Vista desktop and icons on this desktop. I call "Sensitive icon selection area" (SISA), the area around an icon on which the icon is selected when you click on this area. It's pretty hard to do a multiple icons selection using the "rectangle selection" (RS) way on the desktop, because SISA are very close. I think a SISA touches the left/right one, (they is no pixel between 2 contiguous SISA, or may be just 1 pixel). I mean, I must to start my RS next the icon filename. There I can click outside the SISA, and drag to build my RS. Is it clear? Question: How to reduce the SISA? If possible, I would the SISA matches the visual icon area, or its minimum frame. Do you know the registry key to be tweaked, to do this (reduce the SISA)? Thanks in advance. In other words (resume): On the Vista desktop, I would click between (visual area) icons without selecting one of them? Which reg. key to tweak to do that?
