missing (S): HF\msxml4-KB954430-NLD.EXE (MS08-069: XML Core Services (MSXML4))
KB954430 is not available in dutch.
only in Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Spanish.
Just like KB973685 (which shows me the correct ENU version)

On KB971276-v3 download page there's a listbox for choosing the language as usual.
But the name of this file still remain as: WindowsXP-KB971276-v3-x86-ENU.exe
Another buggy hotfix from MS maybe ?
Same here.. can change language, but download is still ENG, seacrhed all over, but can't find a localized download.
another localizable update:
msxml6-KB973686-enu-x86.exe is reported as missing, while msxml6-KB973686-nld-x86.exe is reported as unknown

kb944882 is easely fixed. just remove the space from this line (between x8 and 6-intl)

I think tommyp and mimo should consider this problem quickly.
Why quickly? it's not a critical update.... most of the poeple don't need it.

I've had the same problem too; I suspect it's due to the filenames having extensions of >3 characters, but I could be wrong. All I know is that all the *.ps1xml files are failing.
I'm in the process of running a test where I put that hotfix into HFSVCPACK_SW1 instead of HF to see if it installs it. However my EeePC isn't exactly the fastest machine around, so it takes a while to test the install

only way I could get it to install correctly was to make a switchless installer and put it in HFGUIRUNONCE

Testrun without stripping anything works fine..
I'll do some more testing.
EDIT:Problem is somewhere in the VC packages, so no problem in the script for me anymore. Trying different setups to see what the problem is.

WU still complains about KB951847: Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 en .NET Framework 3.5 Family Update x86
Langpack and OS detection fixed.
I'll try a rerun without stripping anything out of the package (currently updating VC9 externally and excluding WIC)

Building the packages went fine using winxp=yes, but in WU KB951847 and language pack for .NET 1.1 are back

When using the t release i get the following error.
The following value in the SIF-file that setup uses,is damaged or missing:

When omitting the winxp=yes veriable the output is:
Checking .NET stuff to build installer(s)/addon(s) for ..."net config work" returns "Softwareversie Windows 2002"
When I change the "TOKENS=4" in "TOKENS=3" in the OS detection part, it detects correctly, so I think it's a language issue
Because the english output is "Software version Windows 2002", there is an extra space.

There probably is something wrond in the KB971276 code.
I had to put WINXP=YES in the ini or the KB971276 updates did not get processed.
Starting up a VM installation to test if the file not found error dissapeared.
At least the file exists in the archive now (DNF30\XPS\update\update.exe)

I built 3.0 SP2+3.5 SP1 merged installers with exactly the same .ini file settings and with the same files in the work folder as you. Then I proceed to install and the error didn't appear. Can you check again even repeating the process or so?
Weird thing is when i run it from an existing installation it runs fine.
When I use it from HFGUIRUNONCE (I'm using HFSLIP) I get the error.

After that, WU only wants that useless crap, WGA notifications.
Thats exactly what the addon gets rid of.
Place the addon in <HFSLIPDIR>/HFAAO if you don't have this directory you can create it.

Hi, I have test this beta S (October 20, 2009).
It's work with XP French : SP3 + IE8 + Last DirectX + WMP11.
after reboot, I need install only :
- Windows Genuine Advantage Validation Tool (KB892130) when access "Windows Update"
- Windows Genuine Advantage (KB905474) when access "Windows Update"
To get these up to date update these files:
MUAuth.cab - authorization.xml 21-05-2009
MUWEB_SITE.CAB - muweb.cat, muweb.dll, muweb.inf 06-08-2009
For WGA I use an addon http://rapidlibrary.com/download_file_i.ph...-2+-+redxii+.7z

For me it's just a rev. O problem rev. M works just fine.
browsing through the updates.. didn't find it yet.
But I'll let you know when I do find it.
It's included in the main WMP11 installer, wmp11-windowsxp-x86-nl-nl.exe
in there is a file wmfdist11.exe and that has it in the locbin folder

I got exactly the same. did not change anything in the source directory yet, just ran hfslip-1.7.9_beta_o.cmd instead of hfslip-1.7.9_beta_m.cmd
Only wpdshext files are a .ex_ and a .dl_ (both in I386) but no .re_
the .re_ was there when using 1.7.9_beta_m
Maybe the dutch message is of some use
