cheers james
Haven't looked at it, because I don't actually use this app myself. I just made a MSI based installer for it upon request. But I'll see if I can make it use lame on the drop down box.
BTW, for faster response better post at Ryan's site, because I don't look that often here.

it's hillarious that someone believes that s*** thats why he isn't sharing his "godness" of knowledge because his knowledge is nothing more than a stupid a** reg file
or do you think that he is hex editting the windows system files and also he said that his files aren't boosted anymore of you use them in your own version
That guy is full of BS.

Heh, most of the settings above do absolutely nothing for performance. Besides, a lot of tweaks are game specific, there is no "fire and forget" tweak that does it all.

Its not all bad
Sales flop for the PC version in UK? Haha hopefully IW will notice this.
That article is full of BS. MW2 is breaking sales records.
NEW YORK - The video game "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" is blasting its way into entertainment history.After hauling in the biggest-ever first-day sales total last week, the game continues break records.
Activision Blizzard Inc., which released the game Nov. 10, said the latest game in its "Call of Duty" franchise made $550 million in worldwide sales during its first five days. That would put it over the $500 million record set last year by "Grand Theft Auto IV," from Take-Two Interactive Software Inc.
Activision didn't say how many units it has shipped. But Lazard Capital Markets analyst Colin Sebastian estimates the company sold between 8.5 million and 9 million copies.
The game is also blowing past records set by other media. After "Grand Theft Auto IV" comes $394 million in worldwide box office sales brought in by the movie "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" over its first five days, according to Activision.
In its first 24 hours on sale, "Call of Duty" made $310 million in North America and the United Kingdom alone, while "Grand Theft Auto" made that same amount worldwide.
It was also far above the record $155 million opening weekend for the Batman movie "The Dark Knight" last year.
The game, which sells for $60, runs on Windows-based computers, Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Sony's PlayStation 3.
Shares in Activision, which is based in Santa Monica, gained 3 cents to $11.72 in afternoon

With a reg file, like this:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Ahead\Nero - Burning Rom\Info]
"Company"="My Company"
"User"="My Name"
"Serial6"="xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx"
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Ahead\Nero Fast CD-Burning Plug-in]
"Company"="My Company"
"User"="My Name"
"Serial"="xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx"Or use my Nero 6 Lite addon with optional language packs.

This is not true. Windows Xp Setup will accept drivers without WHQL stamp (unless there are compatible in-box drivers available).
Don't count on it with SCSI adapters. More often than not unsigned drivers will fail.

Drivers must be certified. Do you use HostRAID? If not, the drivers you use now will not work.
The latest version for use without HostRAID is v7.0.0.6:
http://www.adaptec.com/en-US/speed/scsi/wi...32_cert_exe.htm
( I know this driver works, because I use it myself... I have the same adapter).

Your Adaptec SCSI controller... what is the exact model you have?

I've seen that problem once, it was caused by shimgvw.dll not being registered anymore. To fix it, type:
Start > run > regsvr32 /i /s "%WinDir%\system32\shimgvw.dll"

1. Has your hdd been detected by the BIOS?
2. Are you running your hdd(s) in RAID or AHCI Mode?
3. Is your hdd/RAID listed as bootable device within the mainboard BIOS (first bootable device: CD/DVD-ROM, second bootable device: your hdd/RAID)?
All of those have nothing to do with not being able to see/boot from an Adaptec SCSI controller.
Make sure the Adaptec SCSI controller is set as the primary boot device in your PC BIOS, and make sure that you've configured your Adaptec card + SCSI drives as well (press CTRL+A to get in the Adaptec BIOS).

to Tripredacus: i know there is NT 3.x windows, but the poll answers are limited to 15 ... Shall I merge it with windows 3.1?
Just merge the two Win98 options? You don't list all Win95 versions either.

Win2k Pro is a much better solution IMHO, its more secure and better supported.

You can't really go wrong with an ATi HD 4550. The HD 4550 can send sound through its HDMI output, and it does all others things you seem to want. And the price is good too, only about 40 euro's.

Would I need to purchase an additional graphioc card for my pc?
That depends on what you have now...

You didn't specify what OS it is, but over time, stuff like System Restore, Indexing Service, etc. eat up a lot of space too.
