Well, yes, it's the exe or dll it's stored in (for QuickTime it's QTTask.exe), but I'm not sure if it's just a string which you can change with a program like Resource Hacker (I just opened a few programs with Resource Hacker, and you can change it for DU Meter, but I couldn't find the string in mIRC).

This is stored in the program, and I doubt you can change it

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\ActiveDesktop]
"NoChangingWallPaper"=dword:00000001If you use this registry tweak, you will have to remove it, because it will prevent you from changing the wallpaper. If you don't have it, maybe you could try to change 1 to 0 and then use it.

@ Tsunami what theme is that??
OpusOS ofcourse

Sometimes I'm just amazed by myself
It took a while to get the right command (although you'd probably figured it out yourself if you've checked WinRAR's help
), but the registry tweak worked right away
, so here it is:Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell\WinRAR.SFX]
@="Create &SFX Archive"
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell\WinRAR.SFX\command]
@="WinRAR a -sfx \"%1.exe\" \"%1\""1) Note that if you're using cascaded menu-items, you can't put it under that menu.
2) For some reason it will shorten some names. I can't find a pattern in it, because it will save "System Volume Information.exe" (25 chars long), but it won't save "Documents and Settings.exe" (22 chars long). I don't know if this is a WinRAR bug, or if it has something to do with my code.

Well, I can change them all seperately (see attached image). This is what I have in my tweaks.reg to get large icons and text-labels below (just set your toolbars to how you want it and export the corresponding key):

yes but unfortunately Windows Explorer IS Internet Explorer so small icons in Internet Explorer equals small icons in Windows Explorer. That's so not true
Explorer, Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer all have a different key for their toolbar layout. I believe the key is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar (I'm at school right now, will check when I'm home (in one and a half hour)).0 -

You mention Windows Post-Install Wizard twice. The second should be kTool.
0 -
The regtweaks.reg file is in the same directory as the batch file, and the path to regedit.exe is specified in the path statement, so that can't be the problem.

Setup will create All Users.Windows if you already have an All Users directory (to prevent it from overwriting stuff, like MHz says).

Well, I installed SP2 from a network installation (didn't slipstream and reinstall Windows, or update from WU) and the part is there in my msnmsn.inf. I'll see if I can find out how Windows uninstalls it...
Edit: what does it say in your sysoc.inf (%WinDir%\inf) at the msnexplr line? Mine says:
msnexplr=ocmsn.dll,OcEntry,msnmsn.inf,,7

How Do I Control MSI Shortcut Destinations?
MSI places shortcuts in the local user profile or all users profile based on the type of installation being performed. In an interactive installation, checking the box to specify the installation is intended for all users of a computer will dictate this placement. From the command line, you may dictate this by setting the public property ALLUSERS.
MSIEXEC.EXE /I MyPackage.msi
When no value is specified the application is installed "Per User" placing shortcuts in the current user profile.
MSIEXEC.EXE /I MyPackage.msi ALLUSERS=1
This installs shortcuts to the "All Users" profile, only administrators will be able to install the shortcuts in this way.
MSIEXEC.EXE /I MyPackage.msi ALLUSERS=2
For users, this will install the shortcut in the current user profile, for administrators, this will still install the profile for "All Users". As an administrator, if you wish to install the shortcuts in your own local profile, do not specify a value for the ALLUSERS property.
This public property is not set by default, but if you wish to dictate a consistent value for this property in the packages you create, edit the default MSI template in your MSI authoring/repackaging software.
So just add ALLUSERS=1 after /QN and it should work.

Or import RunOnceEx during cmdlines.txt, then it will run on first boot too.

The $OEM$ directory won't be copied to the drive, just the $* folders inside the $OEM$ directory. So if you don't make those directories, it won't copy them either.

*sigh*, read people, read! He wants to uninstall it AFTER Windows was installed. I agree that this has little to do with Unattended Windows then

Keynan: After looking at the ms*.inf files in %WinDir%\inf, I believe msnmsn.inf is MSN Explorer's inf. So I think this command should do the trick:
%WinDir%\system32\rundll32.exe advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %WinDir%\inf\msnmsn.inf,msnexplr.Uninstall

Well, it will skip OOBE (as in, you can't fill in any usernames), but it should process oobeinfo.ini...

Seriously, I still don't get it
From what I understand, you want to change the username through winnt.sif? If so, this isn't possible
If you mean this part, it has nothing to do with your account:[UserData]
FullName="User"
OrgName="Home"
ComputerName=ComputerIf you want to create a new username or rename the administrator account, the easiest way would be a batch- / vbscript.

You can put diskpart-commands in a text-file and run it with diskpart /s <script>.
The switches for Norton Ghost weren't hard to find with Google
Here they are.You can use restart.com (included in ebd.cab on a win98 boot-floppy) to restart in DOS.

Google is your friend. The first link brings you to a French site which tells you how to install it on XP Home. Basically, this is what it says (translated with Altavista's Babel Fish and my 1337 French skillz
):Download this zip-file (these are French files, so if you don't have a French system, I'd recommend extracting those files from your XP Pro).
Extract the following files to C:\Windows\system32:
appmgmts.dll
appmgr.dll
fdeploy.dll
gpedit.msc
gpedit.dll
gptext.dll
fde.dll
Extract the following files to C:\Windows\system32\GroupPolicy\Adm (This directory doesn't exist, so create it):
system.adm
inetres.adm
conf.adm
Type the following commands in a command window:
regsvr32 gpedit.dll
regsvr32 fde.dll
regsvr32 gptext.dll
regsvr32 appmgr.dll
regsvr32 fdeploy.dll
It should work now.

If you search for Paltalk there's a topic which is about the unattended install of Paltalk 5 (make sure you select "All forums" in "Search where" and set "Search posts from" to "Any date").
