  1. Smiley89 or anybody, do you know where to download mucltui.dll and mucltui.dll.mui versions 7.2.6001.784?

I can only find older versions

After I installed the new Windows Update Agent, and visited Microsoft Update and did a scan for updates, those two files were at version 7.2.6001.784 in my \windows\system32 directory. I didn't check the file versions immediately after installing, so I don't know if they were updated by the installer, or by visiting Microsoft Update.

  2. I also have the same issue (XP SP3).

I found this tool to restore the icon though:

  3. Ok, tried to install, but at T-28 a window popped up complaining that the file "napclientprov.mof" on (Unknown) could not be found and asking me to provide its location, i just pressed "Cancel" and installation continued. The rest of the installtion went fine and windows booted ok, but it doesn't work correctly. Quicklaunch won't appear ("couldn't create toolbar" error message). Start menu is missing items, problems with internet and email links on top of new start menu. IE won't run either.

    bye!

The file is in c:\windows\system32\wbem, and you can browse for it and the installer will continue without problems (at least in my experience).

I have the same problem, but I can't figure out exactly what's causing it.
