  3. Hi! all I m back with another absurd problem, this time the bootscreen, I have made a custom bootscreen. do all the required things everythings run smoothly, the billboard comes and then the GUI mode of setup runs, gets completed and then when the computer restarts its back with the old bootscreen. something related to System File Check (SFC), I guesss.
  4. I checked that, too, but nothing seems to be working the billboard is still in its native resolution of 640x480 destroying all my setting and plannings. anyways, here is how I did that font things, Compress the fonts file using makecab to have something like fontname.tt_ copy the compressed fonts in i386. edit the file txtsetup.sif and make entries for the new files, open the HIV file and do the registration of the fonts. all set!! Hope it helps
  5. Hi! all I have got it done myself, the Billboard is ok but still the resolution is 640x480 though I have defined it to be 800x600 in winnt.sif, the winnt.sif is completely ok and the unattended parts are working cool, but the billboard resolution is still not what I wanted it to be. Seek Help Immediately

  10. Hi! All I have just got myself an LG Xnote which is shipped with a windows xp home cd and the proc key at the back. The os was installed with only one partition of 80 GB. I repartition the hdd to suit my needs and reinstalled the os but it asks to activate again. Is there any way to avoid it??? as I m a genuine software user (Proudly!!).
  11. Hi Alex! Great going. Well all u require is available right here at the forum. All the available hotfixes by date is available Here integrate them using the /integrate switch. A windows XP CD contains a tool called setup manager found in the WIN_XP\SUPPORT\TOOLS\DEPLOY use the utility to create the answer file. Modify it as much as u wish to suit your needs, just remember to maintain the syntax. Save the file as winnt.sif in your i386 Directory (CD\i386). create the Bootable iso with CDIMAGE (found in the forum). Burn the iso dirctly or use virtual PC to test the CD. and u r there. Regards.
  12. Could you explain the cmdow in detail. My RunOnceEx.cmd has it at the top, will Excluding that show the menu??
  13. Hi! Cullend11, The appropriate OEM structure is $OEM$ |---- |----$1 - Points to the Windows Drive (' C ' in most cases) |----$$ - Points to the Windows Folder( u can have nested System32, Web\Wallpapers or Fonts in it and copy the required contents) Hope it helps Regards
