Thanks a lot for your kind appreciation.[rant] I've noticed you're a fan of Babylon 5 [as am I]... I'm sure you remember G'kar's famous speech from "Survivors" [season 1 episode 11]: "The universe is driven by the complex interaction between three ingredients: matter, energy, and enlightened self-interest." Quoted from this page. Mr. Katsulas was brilliant in that role, I can't imagine G'kar being played by any1 else. [/rant] Best wishes, MDGx Diehard B5 fan. The continual barrage of moral dilemmas in the series actually helped guide me through my own. The quote you mentioned, "The universe is driven by the complex interaction between three ingredients: matter, energy, and enlightened self-interest.", is a sort of absolute truth that is almost undeniable. Andreas Katsulas was born for the role and died in it. I personally believe G'Kar was in fact Andreas, hidden only by the makeup. It did take a while for them to move him out of his early role as an antagonist to protagonist, his real personality, as the series progressed. It really was a tragic series with both Andreas Katsulas (G'Kar) and Richard Biggs (Dr Steven Franklin) dying shortly after and both were said to be "exploring the rim" as their final epitaph. I continue to watch the series and the movies along with the 1 season spinoff Crusade. Cheers and thanks for the quote link!
