    ok tried with a fresh non vlite install the situation is the same. despite the registry update for sp2 windows update is showing that its upto date.

    You must set all regional settings to English (United States) and Windows Update will show SP2.

    The Routing and Remote Access service terminated with service-specific error 16389 (0x4005). from eventlog

    I tried it yesterday and fully nlited it with all patches and all worked same as RC were.

    You with the problem can you explain in detail how do you get those error, but be sure to use clean installation for that.

    Also disable the antivirus programs or set them to scan on execution only.

    Afther disabling Avira Antivirus I have no problems
