  1. I'm having windows 2003 enterprises has the server and 10 XP client machine , 1 2003 server client machine(since for some application support).

Right now I'm facing the problem in the 2003 client machine , Where I'm unable to given the local admin rights for the DC user. I tried in the manage profile but not use.

? Pls suggest the idea regarding this.

  2. I'm having a problem with my network connections. My network card died and I replaced it with another, which is the same model as the old one. I couldn't remove the old card's driver, because it simply stopped being detected by Windows. Now Windows named the new card Marvel (model) #2 and I get a message about an IP conflict when I try to set the IP. The old card doesn't even show up in Safe Mode, so I can't figure out how to remove it. Does anyone know how to do this, so that I can resolve the naming and IP conflicts? Thanks in advance.

You've to use ipconfig /renew for setting the IP..?

  3. First, thanks :)

I make some normal modification...the windows it was the xp home thats comes with my acer. I add the drivers of my laptop, make the new user, put my windows activation code, set the time gmt+1, and chose some options for desktop, like icons and options for start menu. THen burn, and when i begin the installation, the pc reboot at first screen :(

I think its better to reinstall the xp again!! let me see if the problem continues B)

  4. Yes.

You may receive random general protection (GP) fault error messages in Mmsystem.dll. You may also receive one of the following error messages:

Rundll - This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.

RUNDLL32 caused a General Protection Fault in module MMSYSTEM.DLL .

This problem can occur if the "drivers=mmsystem.dll" line is missing from the [boot] section of the System.ini file.

Did you ever received the message like this mmsystem.dll???

    Might be with hardware problem?..
