^ If you're using xplorer², don't forget that the default keys for copy/move are F5 and F6. Ctrl+C / Ctrl+X would use the standard windows copy / move functions.
oh, and also F7 will create a new file. F8 will create a new folder.

Did you try pdf-xchange viewer? It's free, light-weight, is better than Foxit.

I think minimizing FF frequently frees up the memory it takes. Also if you have enable the session saver, you could just restart it and continue where you left off.

Windows to desktop Linux in three easy steps
You like the idea of a free, lightweight OS. But isn’t installing and using Linux on a desktop painful? Not if you use this guide

Thanks for your suggestion.
But I can't see how it can solve my problems.
It appears it doesn't offer a way to select to monitor only parts of the page.
It has an advert filer but it is not just the adverts that needs to be filtered.
Other elements like web statistics and non-related layout changes will still trigger the alert.
The main content is what I'm interested, not the rest of the layout.
WSW can do that and much more. When you are creating a bookmark (i.e., setting up a URL for monitoring), you can invoke the filter assistant and mark out the parts that you want to be ignored when WSW does its check. Currently, WSW is the most powerful web page monitoring software in the market AFAIK. Do read about all its features once.

Did you try writing in Word and then pasting from it to Gmail? If so, do the formatting issues remain?

WinISO MagicISO UltraISO xISO (Chinese) ...Don't forget PowerISO, lol...
since when did they become free?
To the original poster, try http://www.deepburner.com/?r=products&...p;prr=provsfree. The free version has 'Create and burn ISO images' mentioned as one of the features of the free version. So, am guessing it can do it.
