  1. I don't know where you've got the information about the latest release of DreamMail Pro from. On its homepage https://www.cy-email.com/, the latest offered version is 6.7.1.8 from 22.02.2025 which is listed as XP-compatible. In any case, there is no version 7.

  2. Tripredacus is on Win7 (most likely the reason this long abandoned OS is still stuck at the current MS products on MSFN board), the question is only about Win7. How XP is relevant? But I'll answer, for Firefox it doesn't matter which system you run since it has its own cert store. This became the case with newer Chrome, too. But Chrome can use the NT6.0+ local system cert, in addition to its own. Not sure how good this would work on XP. And XP usually fails because it simply doesn't support modern encryption. So you could install and over-install, it will still show no green padlock on XP.

  3. OE Classic has been registered in my Microsoft account as the email app OE Classic. So, I don't think they used a 'borrowed' token but their own one.

  4. Thanks, I don't use torrents, not that I'm against them, just never got used to them. I don't want to share my traffic. I have a very good paid subscription to our local French streaming, it has much better quality than in USA. Edit. No watching climate films then, sorry.

  5. Yeah, I know, sucks, right!? hold on, D.Draker is with you, D.Draker is your guiding light, think of me when you're down. Under no circumstances drown deeper into the depression. And to hell with the climate, we btw have rather good winds this year.

  6. Thanks, I finally got through by using a good VPN, now upon choosing a low definition 720p (.mp4) file, it redirects me to a page with an "app", but then it says the "app" doesn't work with Vista! Finita la comedia, I guess.

  7. The delroots.sst and updroots.sst files have changed, the authroots.sst and roots.sst file remains unchanged.

  8. D.Draker - there is no need to be so... no adjective is going to be typed! I offered a solution that I have used in the past, one that works, one that may POSSIBLY be considered "over-complicated", Trip can use the info or disregard it, no skin off my back either way.

  9. One can get tired of exporting one by one very quickly. Let's see, There we have often cases where pics and videos are stored at another website, so even if you export the main (root) website cert, the pics will show empty, the browser will prevent the off-site untrusted (un-certified) connections. Last but not least, many modern AV scanners use your cert store to check the sites and/or your browser's executable. As we see, Tripredacus uses official browsers, perhaps he uses such AV software, too.

  10. This time I agree, the engine is too bloody old anyways. Don't waste time.

  12. Why such over-complications. lol? Wouldn't it be simpler to just move the whole cert folder from the new Firefox version?

  13. @BlakByte With 24H2 there is known similar issue (everything but mouse frozen) which is result of run as administrator (and UAC prompt) or run as a different user, not exclusively related to Microsoft Terminal been launched. This is almost guaranteed to cause the same result where only hard reboot fixes it. I am also running SAB, but verified that SAB is not related, at least to this specific issue. https://github.com/microsoft/terminal/issues/18105

  14. None, those can't be trusted in testing your hardware. I had several cases where my RAM passed all tests with flying colours, running from there, then failed with booting Windows.

  16. I will be very seldom replying to messages sent to my Hotmail account, so advertising on the sent messages with the OE Classic free version is not an issue for me. If I do need to reply I can do that from Aurora (the in-alpha Eudora replacement) on Windows 10 where I have a proxy set up for OAuth2. As a message reader on XP, the free version will do just fine.

  17. Just to report, I'm now using OE Classic on XP, and it's great! It fetches the messages from my Hotmail account with no problems whatsoever, and as I'm only using it with one account, the free version is fine.

  18. Here is a quotation from the OE Classic online help: The advantage of these open formats is that they can be easily read by other tools.

  19. All mailboxes and messages are stored in the folder C:\Documents & Settings\YourUsername\Local Settings\Application Data\OEClassic\User\Main Identity\ in the form of db files.

  20. Here is a quotation from OE Classic's homepage: When I get back to my desktop computer, I'll check where the mailboxes and messages are stored. BTW, for a long time the following applies: Hotmail account = Outlook account = Microsoft account. To put it more simply: all of this is ultimately Microsoft.

  21. FYI, it's not really a trial version but a free version limited to two email accounts only with the lack of some features of the pro version.

  23. Ultra Adware Killer Ultra Adware Killer is a simple but powerful adware remover for Windows by Carifred. It removes browser toolbars, add-ons, plugins, unwanted search providers, hijacked homepages, and potentially unwanted programs (PUP's). It also allows resetting Chrome and Firefox preferences optionally. Ultra Adware Killer 10.7.7.0 from 09.05.2023 is the last XP-compatible version. It is fully portable, so no installation is needed, and it's free of charge. Every time Ultra Adware Killer is started, it briefly checks for updates. Homepage: https://www.carifred.com/ultra_adware_killer/ Quotation from UAK's homepage: Version number: 10.7.7.0 Date of release: 09.05.2023 System requirements: Windows XP 32/64 bit Windows Vista 32/64 bit Windows 7 32/64 bit Windows 8 32/64 bit Windows 10 32/64 bit Windows 11 Review: https://www.thewindowsclub.com/ultra-adware-killer-remover-cleaner Download link: Ultra Adware Killer 10.7.7.0 Screenshots: I did a scan, and it worked as advertised. To do so, you only need to press the Start scan button, wait until the scan ends, and remove the items found. Typically, the whole operation takes only a few minutes. Additionally, a custom scan to check files or single folders can be performed at any time But you have to read carefully not to delete entries which are actually belonging to harmless programs. On the homepage https://www.carifred.com/ultra_adware_killer/, you will find much more detailed instructions, help and information about this program. I think it is an interesting alternative to for example the depreciated Malwarebytes AdwCleaner. Greetings, AstroSkipper

  24. DreamMail Pro - Update information! DreamMail Pro has been updated again and is now available in version 6.6.6.10. It is still XP-compatible, and the development is ongoing! I have not been able to find a version history on their homepage. Therefore, I generated an official version history translated to English and provide it here: And here is the download link of DreamMail Pro 6.6.6.10: https://dl.cy-email.com/dm6/Download/dmpro_setup6.6.6.10.exe To force the updated installer of DreamMail Pro 6.6.6.10 to use English instead of Chinese as the installer language, I updated again my small loader that does this when it calls up the setup program. It must be executed in the same directory in which the setup file is located with its original file name dmpro_setup6.6.6.10.exe. Here is the download link of my loader Force_En_Install_DM_Pro_66610.exe: https://www.mediafire.com/file/ijovdtlxbzc6pkp/Force_En_Install_DM_Pro_66610.7z/file Although some virus scanners detect this file as malicious, it is just a false-positive as always. Use my loader to force an English install, only if you trust me, of course! Cheers, AstroSkipper
