  1. I hate "it is what it is", my last boss (a "yes man") would say "it is what it is" a dozen times per week, if not more. But it didn't "terminate thought", I learned to reply with "We evolve or we cease to exist" and I'd say that goes for here also. It's not about Google Meet or Google Voice, albeit that was the conversation-starter. Look at recent issues as simple as an arrow icon that doesn't work because some javascript function is too "new". I'm no "fanboy" of this browser versus that browser, I owe no loyalty to this browser versus that browser. I'm just a Simple Man and just want a browser that "works" for the sites that I visit. Don't we all? My "default" browser has changed at least six times in the last year alone. I'm not asking for sliced bread - just give me the loaf and I'll find my own knife.

  2. For the most part.. I'm able to do everything I need with Roy's builds, only the rare occasion I've had to turn to UC Browser or Vivaldi.

  3. I played a bit with forks. Surely there are no or hardly any advantages on ME. Icecat 31.8 (windows version): It doesn't start. Problem begins with no support for _vsnprintf_s. [msvcrt.dll] _vsnprintf_s= Any values for it in the stubs.ini haven't accomplished something useful. Cyberfox 32bit 48.0.2 behaves like Firefox 48.0.2. Already integrated ClassicThemeRestorer and a JS Toggler. It doesn't run on XP. Apparently blocked on purpose. PCXFirefox 35.0.1 x86 doesn't run. 48.0.2 starts with Kext entries: [ntdll.dll] _aulldiv= _allmul=

  4. here they stopped use of landlines by increasing price of contract to ridiciliously high compared gsm prices then stopped selling landlines with excuse nobody wants use. Sure nobody does when it was ridiously high priced to push cell phones. So there is no option. I here. I chose less evil option. Older early 2000 GSM mobile phones (got few nokia, siemens and samsung ones). In finland we got good GSM coverage, last time had call dropping 12 years ago. I miss landline as option. all my cellphones from late1990/early 2000 have survived and still operated. Few of them needed fresh battery after been sitting forever in closet. Back in day cell phones were built to last too but one point they started reduce body/build quality and blocking repairs. All I need to take apart my 6600 is needle. Not all cell phones are total garbage and breaking. Most just think cell phone as iPhone or other non locked down device not oldschool one. If they ever drop GSM I stop using phones. Not going to modern smartphone in any case.
