  1. Very strange, I can post different links. I remember some users that were constantly posting random youtube videos were restricted, but you never spammed this forum. So, it's strange, indeed. As proof I can post: Crocodile Monitor (Varanus salvadorii) https://a-z-animals.com/animals/crocodile-monitor/

  4. I can remember very well that there was a problem with the sporadic disappearance of the Clean Links' toolbar icon in the past. This seems to be fixed in CleanLink2 as far as I can tell at the moment. In any case, I have installed this version and will see how it behaves.

  5. I used Pure URL in the past. And long time ago, the extension Clean Links. CleanLink2 seems to be a fork of Clean Links. So, thanks for the hint! I will try this forked version next time.

  6. Is this triple posting glitch back again?

  7. The article is obviously old, it was a glitch in SP1, in RTM and SP2 - they do.

  9. As I already mentioned before, I can't confirm your issue with the logger in uBlock Origin 1.57.2 in single-process mode. Here is a screenshot as a proof:

  10. Thanks for testing! I'm glad it works for you. But if you look at my screenshots above, you'll see that I actually have problems with uBlock Origin 1.57.2 in multi-process mode. And I'm not imagining them. BTW, I did a fresh install of Mypal 68.14.0b with a fresh, untouched profile. Maybe, this multi-process mode is not compatible with every hardware? Or do you use other settings for multi-process mode as your default ones?

  11. Blame is not uploading, so what type of the crash do you get? The kind of crashes I experience is always an immediate closing of the browser when I click on links in my logged-in account on Codeberg. Some clicks here and there, and all of a sudden, the browser closes without any error message. And that only in single-process mode. I would like to provide more information but there is none I am aware of.

  13. First off, I so missed you, man! Let me hug you with my big arms! Be on your guard with the Group of Mean Trolls. The one in the hat already gave you a rather unwelcome greeting, despite knowing your situation! Try to ignore them, it drives them crazy. I'll support you with everything I can, please have a nice time, regenerate to the fullest!

  14. Since I created an account on Codeberg, I get these crashes only in single-process mode, They occur absolutely randomly without uploading any file. It is enough to click some links here and there, and the browser crashes immediately without any message. And it never happens with the same link. Very strange!

  15. Thanks for replying! First, I tried a basic installation, without any further settings or additional filter lists in Mypal 68.14.0b using the default multi-process mode. Only the pre-selected filter lists were loaded. So at first sight, all seemed to be fine. That means, to answer your question, the vanilla install works. But if I enable the default filter list AdGuard - Ads, all is over. Here is a screenshot showing this error state: Same when enabling the default filter lists AdGuard Tracking Protection or AdGuard URL Tracking Protection. Endless loading of these lists. The complete uBlock Origin installation becomes inaccessible. Even a restart can't do anything. The GUI of uBlock Origin's dashboard page is then completely broken. Here is a screenshot showing the broken tab Filter lists: Therefore, I had to uninstall it due to a complete breakage in accessing other websites by the browser. BTW, you mentioned my reported issue here https://github.com/Feodor2/Mypal68/issues/426. Unfortunately without the important information that this issue only happens in multi-process mode but not in single-process mode. Maybe, you can add this missing information. Is anyone here who can or cannot confirm this issue I observed? Regarding your statement that the logger doesn't work in single-process mode, I can't confirm that. Working here as far as I can see. Tested in uBlock Origin 1.57.2. Anyway! uBlock Origin 1.57.2 is fully working in Mypal 68.14.0b if configured in single-process mode but not in multi-process mode. I would therefore assume that something is wrong with the multi-process mode, or the default configuration of the multi-process mode is somehow problematic for uBlock Origin 1.57.2. At least, on my Windows XP computer, even with hardware acceleration disabled. Greetings, AstroSkipper

  16. Ok. As usual the proof is in the pudding. I have two partitions with Windows XP installed. One with POSReady 2009 and one without. I will test that and report here. I have just tested uBlock Origin 1.57.2 in Mypal 68.14.0b multi-process mode on my Windows XP partition without any POSReady 2009 updates. Same issue. When starting to load the filter list Adguard - Ads, all is over. Endless loading and uBlock Origin is then completely broken. Thus, as I already assumed, this issue is definitely not related to POSReady 2009 patches/updates.

  17. SAB. When we tested upgrading SAB 3.7.8 to 3.7.9, the SAB taskbar was turned off when the upgrade finished. The upgrade takes about 1 second and when explorer restarted, the regular Win 11 taskbar was present. We just went and ran StartAllBackCfg.exe manually and turned on the taskbar. It used the previous settings from 3.7.8 and we had the SAB taskbar back. We don't consider anything in the upgrade process an issue or problem. For us, SAB works 100%. Jim

  19. Some bugs could look like that in practice. One program I work with at my workplace had an issue in the past where a specific function caused the crash, we noticed at some point during diagnosis the customer is using single-core CPU. It crashed on our test systems as well when we ran the program with affinity set to 1 core.

  20. I wouldn't rule it out, if you have a way to test without POSReady. We (plural) [work-related] had several several SEVERAL issues with POSReady. Our IT ended up "banning" POSReady on all factory computers running XP.

  21. I would like to use Mypal without SSE2 on real hardware (not VMs). I own an old computer (Socket A motherboard) with a Sempron 2800+ processor. I can run Palemoon fork by @roytam1 on it, even if it is slow. But the renderer engine of Palemoon is to much in late on the web standards. Browsers based on chromium are too much heavy and unusable on this computer. So it remains Mypal... But I don't use this computer on a daily basis and even less for surfing as I own many others computers. So If you are not interested and/or if that require a lot of efforts, I understand that and I would like to thank you very much for what you do for the community with Mypal. Regards

  26. Perhaps I went too technical there and did not get my point trough. What I try to do is help avoid people from making bad decision for their security or privacy. There are too many shills shilling too many allegedly secure or private services on the internet and unless someone does breakdown for problems with services and claims they may think they are secure to send anything, even data you you normally would not over it when using them. Point you think you are invulnerable is point you are more vulnerable than ever. I want everyone to take any promises of security or privacy with great grain of salt and not put all eggs to one basket.

  27. oops, this is a false positive due to bad coding practice. problem is inside wintz.cpp and I finally got it fixed. https://github.com/roytam1/UXP/commit/92e1373e8c7dc28bcc715aaad0bd9558b11a7909 (EDIT: from my limited testing, it seems to be fine with AutoDST on or off, so no further change will be made about it)

  30. But now it's over. Stop this kind of multiple attacks! You seem to enjoy twisting the words and statements of others as it also can be read from you in other threads, though. There is no rule that I have laid down. Stop spreading such untruths! I am very polite by nature, but I can be different if required. So, first read, then think and maybe then write something would be more advisable!

  31. I am constantly helping others here on MSFN, but on topic. Just have a look at my multiple threads if you feel like! So, the imperative you used is inappropriate and irrelevant.

  32. No. My comment and the measures I tried to motivate can be performed in Mypal 68 if desired. And if an answer has only been given for a specific country, it should be labelled as such from the outset. But unlike you, I don't constantly talk about things that can't be realised in Mypal 68 anyway.
