  1. Past hour
  2. And don't forget, even if the certificates in its own cert store match yours, you can still see the red flags because its own ones are too old. That browser was released in 2020, we live in 2024.
  3. So I have some info to share for anyone coming back to this thread later. Backup HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\StartIsBack to save StartAllBack settings Backup HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\StartPage2 to save Start Menu pins. Check to see if HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\StartPage3 exists, back it up if it does. Set up new computer, reinstall all programs that were pinned. Merge .reg file with SAB settings, merge StartPage2 reg file and StartPage3 reg file if that existed for you. Reinstall SAB, all settings but systray layout should transfer.
  4. You're welcome! Then we also have to take into account that the iteration you talk about first came through Russia repackers' hands. As it is based on a repack from Russia.
  5. Thanks.I'm using 360 chrome 13.5.1030 rebuild 7 from notheretoplaygames.Does that make any difference from what you said or no difference?
  6. All of the settings for the tray icons are under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\NotifyIconSettings. If you wipe everything under that it will reset your icons and the order and such but if you are having weird issues that may help. Just clear and restart Explorer. If you're worried you can also export NotifyIconSettings beforehand just to be extra safe!
  7. Then something's wrong on your end, according to @George King, and I quote. "When I installed Windows XP SP3+ (All updates until 04-2019 and .NET and Visual C++)" "it (Supermium) works like a charm." @George Kingwouldn't tell crap, trust me. https://github.com/win32ss/supermium/issues/493#issuecomment-2067100117
  8. Oh thanks, so that was rumours about Jan. 2024 build.
  9. No fix, as we know. Most importantly, if the system certification path says this certificate is OK, you have nothing to worry about. Ignore.
  10. That Browser is made for their local China market. 360EE has it's own (inner) cert. store. If they aren't approved by the communist party and/or absent in their store - you get a mismatch immediately. The devs have to comply with the demands of China's communist party. Obviously, you visit the sites that aren't allowed in China, thus the red flags.
  11. Today
  12. I get several of those red insecure connection warnings with 360 chrome 13.5.1030.When I look at certification path it says this certificate is ok. After using the roots and revoked certificates updater v1.6 it still happens.Don't have this issue with mypal68. How is this fixed?
  13. Hi, I just wanted to show a bug i've been having with this theme when using the taskbar on duel screen, the second screen shows the taskbar too small no matter what I do. https://www.deviantart.com/vaporvance/art/Luna10-907548273 I know deviant art is annoying when it comes to downloading files, so if needed I could send a zip? the taskbar style is inside the entire msstyle.
  14. BTW, I do not watch YouTube videos in browsers under Windows XP. YouTube has become bloated and cumbersome for many years. Under Windows XP and older, weaker machines, there are different ways to watch them more unbloated and less resource-consuming. @NotHereToPlayGames One way is to use the extension uTube from RealityRipple Software for UXP browsers. Doing so, you won't see any ads, even not these annoyances at the end of the Adblocker Test Video. All you have to do is to edit the install.rdf to make it compatible with New Moon 28 or Serpent 52.
  15. Maybe on Pale Moon, but in any case not on New Moon 28 when using @UCyborg's uBlock Origin 1.16.6b1 or uBlock Origin Legacy 1.16.4.35.
  16. Yesterday
  17. Haaaaaa .. yeah, I've got on my helmet for when this thing blows up one day.....
  18. The only XP I ran in recent times is installed on bare metal, virtual machines suck for fun stuff, unless maybe with specific setup that I'm not too familiar with and is probably too much bother anyway...if I reboot, XP gets all available hardware resources...until capacitors on this old thing still work, I can still mess around with it and have eXPerience as was meant to be.
  19. Right click on your clock and click lock taskbar once it's on the monitor of choice. Now this will reset again of you change anything with your GPU drivers as in updating or rolling them back, the task bar will switch back to your primary monitor. You will have to repeat moving it to the monitor of choice and locking it again.
  20. I find it amazing that Start11 can literally crash all of explorer when configuring its menus but StartAllBack which is one of the most stable pieces of software I've ever seen causes security or performance issues. If Tihiy has to discontinue SAB I will be forced to begrudgingly use Windows 11 stock because Start11 is not a viable alternative in any way. It's amazing that a company as established as Stardock can sell something just so bug ridden and unstable. No wonder there has been a rivalry (it seems), Stardock is this huge company but they can't even come close to matching the quality of the work of one guy. Doing a simple search in the start menu after a few seconds triggers an explorer crash, what a pile of junk that is.
  21. I'm having a problem where some of the tray icons I have check marked to only show in the sys tray will uncheck themselves. I have to keep going back into the properties and re-check them again. Anyone else having this problem and found any type of solution or perhaps a setting I may have missed that is causing this? Thank you !!! Edit: I would like to also point out everything else is functioning correctly and this is the only problem I have seen so far since purchasing this several months ago
  22. I have been reading this and ran the test video using @UCyborg's uBlock Origin 1.16.6b1 on PM latest and didn't see anything not even at the end.
  23. What's the point of fixing modernizr for IE5.5? IE regarding js and web standards really sucks. If you just want that people could browse with older browsers, use techniques like graceful degradation or progressive enhancement. Regarding browser choices, Windows 95+ users could use RetroZilla (bassed on Firefox 2.x) that's much modern and better than Internet Explorer 5.5. If you still want to use IE, there where a tutorial on betaarchive that allowed you to use IE6 on Windows 95. Regarding Windows 3.1 or lower, just use a text-based browser.
