  1. Past hour
  2. Hello and welcome to Austria!
  3. At this point, everyone knows you have several accounts, at least you finally came clean with it. Yet it doesn't answer my on-topic question, why do you suggest that e-mail service to us?
  4. Hello Does anyone know if it's a registry key or a setting that causes the Windows font to be darker with SAB (dark mode off) ? Without SAB : With SAB : Thanks
  5. Wow, what did you do to get your special permission to insult without consequences? Even the word "id_ot" gets through the forum censorship.
  6. Account #2 do you resent me because I consider you stupid? Disorders. You post a link with a thread I opened and you didn't even understand what was written in it otherwise you wouldn't be making these idiotic interventions. Get treatment.
  7. Because they are made my account #1. Is it so hard to understand that I have various email accounts including TutaMail but the account that I consider most secure of all is NOT Tutamail or Pronton Mail. I have a colleague who used to teach elementary school if you want I will call him and have him come to this forum and explain it to you to account #2
  8. SAB. When we tested upgrading SAB 3.7.8 to 3.7.9, the SAB taskbar was turned off when the upgrade finished. The upgrade takes about 1 second and when explorer restarted, the regular Win 11 taskbar was present. We just went and ran StartAllBackCfg.exe manually and turned on the taskbar. It used the previous settings from 3.7.8 and we had the SAB taskbar back. We don't consider anything in the upgrade process an issue or problem. For us, SAB works 100%. Jim
  9. Memory read errors? Is your RAM stable in all/other applications? Perhaps try Serpent 52.9. I believe NM 28 profile would work with it.
  10. Thanks for your assessment! I tend to agree with that. My Windows XP computer is indeed equipped with a 32-bit single-core CPU. I think using Mypal 68 in single-process mode is more suitable as I already did from the very first. In this mode, it uses much less RAM.

  12. That would suggest that the phone is recognized as a "hub" and what is disconnected/powered down is a "secondary" port, the port that does picture/video transfer versus the port that charges the phone. XP powers down the port when disconnected. x86 and x64.
  13. Ok. As usual the proof is in the pudding. I have two partitions with Windows XP installed. One with POSReady 2009 and one without. I will test that and report here.
  14. Some bugs could look like that in practice. One program I work with at my workplace had an issue in the past where a specific function caused the crash, we noticed at some point during diagnosis the customer is using single-core CPU. It crashed on our test systems as well when we ran the program with affinity set to 1 core.
  15. I wouldn't rule it out, if you have a way to test without POSReady. We (plural) [work-related] had several several SEVERAL issues with POSReady. Our IT ended up "banning" POSReady on all factory computers running XP.
  16. You're right. My Windows XP Professional SP3 32-bit is fully updated with all patches/updates after SP3 including all POSReady 2009 ones. But this was never a problem. And uBlock Origin 1.57.2 works fine here in single-process mode. Thus, I don't think that the problem is related to the POSReady 2009 patches. But thanks for your opinion!
  17. Might be, I said I don't recall exactly, just seem to (mis?)remember that LED on USB flash drives always powered down on my Windows systems (if this is any indication), but it's been a while since I've actually used Windows 7 specifically and don't have a usable Win7 install at hand to test. Win7 was my main OS in the older days. I wanted to point out generalizations may not be 100% accurate. For example, if I "eject" my phone on XP x64, it still charges. If I do that on Win10, charging stops.
  18. @AstroSkipper If I remember well, your computer is full of Windows Embedded POSReady 2009 patches. Perhaps that the issue comes from that. Your OS isn't anymore a real XP and I don't think that @feodor2 has installed all these patches on his computers. Comparing yours results will be very complicated. Regards
  19. Hello!, i recently discovered this helpful site to introduce me to the world of modern device drivers written for old opperating systems! I hope to find many more interesting topics here along the way -Aaron
  20. Hello! I have recently tried downloaing and installing WaltersWorld drivers for the HDA controllers, but alas I am greeted with the sound of silence. Sadly Im not hearing any pops when it is loading but when I play a system audio file in sounds the play button doesnt freeze. I would love if someone could point me in the right direction! Thank you
  21. I would like to use Mypal without SSE2 on real hardware (not VMs). I own an old computer (Socket A motherboard) with a Sempron 2800+ processor. I can run Palemoon fork by @roytam1 on it, even if it is slow. But the renderer engine of Palemoon is to much in late on the web standards. Browsers based on chromium are too much heavy and unusable on this computer. So it remains Mypal... But I don't use this computer on a daily basis and even less for surfing as I own many others computers. So If you are not interested and/or if that require a lot of efforts, I understand that and I would like to thank you very much for what you do for the community with Mypal. Regards
  22. Possible. But I have ran both on real hardware on old laptop and from VM on fairly-modern hardware. I get the same results in both - Supermium is the only one pegging at 100% for 2 to 4 minutes, dropping to 2% for 10 seconds, then pegging again for another 2 to 4 minutes. I can only speak towards what I witness - and that is that Thorium works better, much MUCH better, on my hardware. Supermium can NOT be ran from a VM, the 100% CPU is far FAR worse when ran from a VM. But I suppose that's okay, we should be targeting real hardware.
  23. Found some Windows 7 drivers : Have you already tried any of these eMMC drivers by any chance ? https://board.eclipse.cx/download/file.php?id=272 The W7 Braswell drivers from 2015 might be compatible with your laptop.
  24. Then you missed when the OP replied that he doesn't want something in the systray so we had to move away from that suggestion. No clue on assistant service, that is "OT to the OP". I'm liking that phrase, I may trademark it.
  25. My guess is you'd need a natively DX12 supported GPU, as it bypasses to DX12 directly.
  26. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales v1.1116.0.0 This game requires window 10 version 1909 (build 18363) or even later.
