  2. Wow! Interesting, so they confirm it's malware themselves! "360 reserves the right to remove any certificate!" ?!??! Does this updater have a protection mechanism for such malicious actions?
  3. That's a lot of filters. But surely we dont need all those lists, i use even less lists on firefox with ublock 1.57 and all ads are blocked as they should be.

  5. Guys, sorry for the late arrival. There is a lot of true info in these recent posts, there is also a lot of misleading half-truths. I shall attempt to clear the air, but sometimes that is impossible here at MSFN when people doing the discussing already have preconceived notions (which may result in this being my ONLY reply to these recent posts). I speak solely towards my 360Chrome v13.5.1030 Redux as that is the only version I still use. My other versions "should" be the same in this regard. First, yes, it is "true" that iTrusChina Co.,Ltd. is LISTED in the Trusted Certificates Store - that is not the same thing as saying it is being "used" by 360Chrome. The USE of this certificate is "supposed to be" BROKEN in my builds. Now then, with that said, how do we PROVE that the USE of this cert is BROKEN? You must must must first locate a web site that USES that cert! https://valid-isrgrootx2.letsencrypt.org/ does NOT use that cert - it uses "E1". More importantly, it uses "ECDHE_ECDSA" as the key exchange mechanism - this is not compatible with WinXP and cannot be made compatible with WinXP. My 360Chrome is "secure" for this E1 cert using ECDHE_ECDSA because this is on WINDOWS 10 and not XP!
  6. Well this is a problem with native taskbar as well with the apps which change paths but do not have persistent UUID (e.g. Electron s***).
  7. Today
  8. You can't! "VxKex is a set of API extensions for Windows 7 that allow some Windows 8, 8.1 and 10-exclusive applications to run on Windows 7." You confused Vista with Wn7.
  9. Please don't ask about things only related to Thorium in this thread, which is about Supermium. There is a dedicated thread for Thorium.
  10. Just what I say. I use much more filter lists than you. Two of them you have enabled are not used in my installation. When I am back at my desktop computer, I will provide a screenshot of my current configuration for better comparison. What I definitely know at this moment is that in my uBlock Origin Legacy installation of New Moon 28, I have enabled 21 filter lists plus my self-created filters under the tab "My filters".
  11. Hello to all again! I have an issue and I can't install VxKex on Windows Vista with the extended kernel and does anyone know how this can be fixed?😕
  12. https://caprogram.360.cn/#trust "360 Browser usually trusts the root certificate trusted by the underlying operating system, but now it will also configure its own root trust store. 360 reserves the right to remove any certificate." I don’t know whether 360EE preferentially uses the root certificate trusted by the operating system or the root certificate trusted by 360.
  13. But they cooperate https://github.com/win32ss/supermium/commit/beafac6c78bf7cdc2005c2d0f0cfa0e10a25e48f
  14. Yes, right, thanks for the warning, I almost forgot and was on the verge of posting it!
  15. No, it uses its own, in addition to the system ones, but the Chinese are of most importance to this browser. Go to chrome://settings/certificate And you will see China issued certificates from 360 original (inner) store. Any more questions?
  16. Thorium still has a dedicated website (not sure how old it is), but I don't advise to link to it, it has loads of Windows cr-cks, including his own, so don't get banned for posting his site! Or this topic might be locked, too! Thorium is still a distributor of highly illegal content.
  17. It's just that your browser is old, just find a new browser.
  18. Why off-top? It's not off-top. I'll tell you where. Alex had his own website long before he made that github account. Several MSFN members linked to that site, but it was not allowed for posting because Alexei hosted cr*cks on his site along with the browser Thorium. Then he deleted that site after the scandal with the child p0rn distribution (but we are forbidden to go into further details) by Dave-H. As you may remember, the old Thorium topic was locked, probably due to the reason of Alex (Thorium) distributing cr*cked Windows loaders, etc...
  19. Offtop: Where did you find out he's from Russia? I am from Russia myself, but I have not seen any posts on any forum that he is Russian. And also in the browser there is no part of localization in Russian. In the web archive, all the snapshots say Oklahoma. https://web.archive.org/web/20220124195629/https://github.com/Alex313031
  20. No, those are two completely different guys. To clarify: Supermium is made by @win32 - Canada, Thorium (100% based on Supermium) but made by Alex F. "Alex313031" - Russia.
  21. maybe a mattermost bug. if you had select a team before, then it should work.
  22. The OpenGL driver from Catalyst 14.11.2 should also work, it's the last version of Catalyst that works on Vista with just a simple inf mod. Don't know whether it has any advantages over the 13.12 one though.
  23. Thank you for the new releases. I wonder why https://chat.reactos.org/select_team upon logging into https://chat.reactos.org still does not work. I have notified the folks there.
  24. btw the same guy works and supermium also
