  4. I've used the roots and revoked certificates updater v1.6 shown on page 39.It was successful according to the updater. I have only used it on my user account, but does it also work and update the other user accounts on the pc or do they have to be individually updated?XP 32bit.Sorry if it's a dumb question.
  5. Still having a bare metal XP PC running, but it is not my primary web browsing platform.
  6. OH yeah, its an old wired HP Deskjet 1000 so unfortunately they actually have to log in from my computer, but trust me, I'm over their shoulder hawking them. Its usually medical stuff anyway and paperwork.
  7. Latest release published mere minutes ago; the first one (non-BETA) to officially support WinXP on both 32 & 64-bits, the same is true for Windows Vista SP2: https://github.com/Alex313031/thorium-legacy/releases/tag/M122.0.6261.168 As instructed, read all the Release Notes very carefully and then be extra meticulous on selecting and running the most suitable installation files (including Fonts) for your OS+bitness!

  9. I would never use two ad blockers at once. uBlock Origin is totally sufficient and can block most things. But it has to be configured correctly. Your five lists are not sufficient. Even the two YouTube lists can't change that. All filter lists under "Built-in" should be enabled. But uBO can do much more. You can remove annoying elements from websites and create your own filters, and so on. And BTW, one further extension consumes more resources than enabling a few filter lists in uBO.
  10. I'm going to keep my current setup. I only need *ONE* list to block YouTube ads but it is not a uBO list, it's ONE list inside "AdBlock - best ad blocker". It defeats the purpose if I need to extend my FIVE uBO lists to TWENTY-SOME lists. My five uBO + one "AdBlock - best ad blocker" seems just fine for my needs. If your list would have worked for uBO to block YouTube ads by using six or seven lists instead of five but one extension instead of two, that would have been a step in the right direction. But jumping my 5 lists up to 20-some, nope, I'll pass. But thanks again for the suggested TWO lists, but no, adding those two lists did not prevent the need for my one extra extension.

  12. BTW, you can't find them there. These list were added in my mod uBlock Origin Legacy by myself. Anyway! Using uBlock Origin and a sufficient number of good filter lists means no ads in YouTube videos.
  13. What didn't work? You should enable all built-in filter lists and some more. And import both YouTube lists!
  14. I checked my release on Android. Here they are: uBlock filters – Quick fixes: https://ublockorigin.github.io/uAssets/filters/quick-fixes.txt GoodbyeAds-YouTube-AdBlock-Filter: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/jerryn70/GoodbyeAds/master/Formats/GoodbyeAds-YouTube-AdBlock-Filter.txt
  15. I am not at my desktop computer at the moment but surfing with my Android tablet. On FilterLists you will find all you need.
  16. That's right. But this thread is actually about @roytam1's browser releases. :OT You have to import these filter lists in your uBO version. You can find them all on https://filterlists.com/. :END OF OT
  17. When you HOVER OVER your YouTube-AdBlocker-Filter, can you show me what the status bar shows as the SOURCE of the list?
  18. I cannot use your mod uBO Legacy, it is for Mozilla-based and I run Chromium-based. Seems the LISTS between uBO-Mozilla and uBO-Chromium are DIFFERENT. I see nothing called "quick fixes" and nothing called "goodbyeads-youtube".
  19. That's unfortunately not enough. What about all default uBlock filters? For blocking YouTube ads, you can enable uBlock filters – Quick fixes and GoodbyeAds-YouTube-AdBlock-Filter. In my thread, you will find my latest release containing all these filter lists and more. And in my article, you will find corresponding images of the tab Filter lists. In any case, I don't get ads in YouTube videos when using my mod uBlock Origin Legacy.
  20. NINA now has support for ICQ up to version 6 and the iOS and Android AIM apps, allowing you to chat in a retro fashion on your smartphone. Their launch of AOL Desktop is soon. They're about $260 behind on hosting due to some issues, so if you'd like to chip in $5 for beta access, you won't regret it.. The AIM Express Adobe Flash client along with it's WebAPI protocol allowing HTML applications to interface with NINA is also now available for donators. Quite retro, but works very well. Attached in the screenshot is the AIM iOS app, ICQ 6 and AIM Express.
  21. I know that, of course. It wasn't directed at you either, but at those who are annoyed by websites that don't load properly in @roytam1's browsers. In the end, many of them can be loaded quite well if you do it right.
  22. A tad OT, but what lists are you guys using in uBO? I import my lists because I rebuild my profile often and I disable my internet during profile creation, these are the lists I'm using: But they do not block YouTube ads so I rely on a separate extension called "AdBlock — best ad blocker", version 5.22.0, with one and only one list:
  23. I tried disabling the enhanced features of SAB, and there were no issues with testing the input method switch.
  24. ... I totally agree with you on this ; but you didn't have to convince me in the first place ... However, try to preach to the number of members here who are (still) under the impression that using a content blocker (such as uBO) will "significantly slow down" their browsing experience on their antiquated H/W ... Yes, uBO does consume a slight RAM portion to do its job, but if you're very low on RAM (< 512MB), you probably shouldn't face the current web with that machine of yours ...
  25. Paragon HFS v11.0.0.175 was still compatible with Windows XP only the installer wasn't.
